Trying to fix things, she begged George, “Lopez Group is about launch the smart supermarket and security system. Only Norpa Technology meets your standards. Please, don’t let this stall issue hurt our interests!” 

In a lower voice, she added, “If you help us this time, I’ll make sure your hard work gets recognized, and you’ll get your rewards!” 

George, unimpressed by her pleas, announced loudly, “There are many talented people in this country. Your team lacks integrity and is damaging others‘ reputations. Lopez Group will end your contract, and future partnerships will think twice about working with you!” 

The project leader turned pale and stumbled back, hitting the corner of a desk. She panicked, thinking, ‘If the Lopez Group pulls out, Norpa Technology is finished… I’ll lose everything!” 

Her eyes, once bright, now glared at the three employees like she wanted revenge. She yelled, “If Norpa Technology collapses, all my hard work will be wasted… I will make you pay!” In her anger, she lunged at the three women. 

Terrified, the three shouted, “It wasn’t us! We’re confused about how this started!” “It’s Berry! She called Shakira a flirt and suggested we warn the male colleagues. She’s to blame!”

Suddenly, a sharp slap jolted her back. The project leader shouted, “Are you deaf?! Speak up! What’s your relationship with Mr. Lopez?!” 

With everyone watching, Berry felt heated, yet no one was willing to defend her. Clenching her fists, she shouted back, “I never said I was Mr. Lopez’s girlfriend! You’re making this up; it’s got nothing to do with me!” 

Turning to the three women, Berry continued, “And you! Did I force you to do anything? Your mistakes are yours alone!” Having vented her frustration, Berry quickly gathered her things and threw her ID onto the desk. “I quit!” 

The others from Norpa Tech stood in shock. They remembered how Berry had hinted at things from day one. Now, seeing her lead them into chaos, they wanted to tear her apart. But before they could react, Berry had already left. 

The logistics team of the Lopez Group meant business. When they said ten minutes, they stuck to it. Norpa Technology’s belongings were quickly taken out of the Lopez Group building
