Chapter 11
I put my index finger on my lips, reminding them to be silent.
“Hello, Grandma, what happened?”
“Sienna, you child, you didn’t even mention in advance that your sister was coming over. We haven’t prepared anything at home.” Just this sentence made me feel a wave of darkness in front of my eyes. It took a few deep breaths before I regained my voice.
*Grandma, did you let her in?”
“Yeah, really? She said you knew, don’t you know?”
I hadn’t had a chance to reply yet when there came a rustling sound from the other side.
Then, Carolina’s sweet voice came through
“Sirma, my grandmother and I were waiting for you at home. You must come alone. Hurry up and come over, hehe—“Something’s not right..
Her condition was not right, and she couldn’t hide her excitement in her tone, revealing a touch of madness.
“Okay! I will go back alone right away! Carolina, will you take good care of Grandina and make sure she doesn’t get hurt, right?” I forced myself to stay calm and comed her gently
After a few seconds, the person on the other side finally replied, “Of course, as long as Sienna comes, Grandma will be safe.”
The phone hung up, and I immediately ran towards the parking space.
The two people I bumped into had the same bewildered look on their faces. “Sienna, where are you going? Don’t leave!”
I was both anxious and angry, and I slapped Joey’s face, who was holding me back.
“Get out of here! Joey, I’m asking you! Did you bring your sister? What exactly do you guys want to do?”
“My younger sister? Ah, you mean Carolina?”
As soon as the words fell, Brayden, who had been silent all along, suddenly exclaimed with excitement, “It’s impossible! She clearly— “Brayden!”
I glared fiercely at Joey and said, “Carolina is with Isabela! I’m telling you, Joey, if anything happens to Isabela, I will definitely trade my life for that Junatic!”
After I left, she might have felt…without me as an obstacle, she could finally be with Brayden.
For the first time, she put her ambition and desire on the table and said to Brayden with joy, “Sienna is gone, you still have me. I love you more than her. Don’t like her anymore, like me, marry mo!” Brayden looked at her as if he was seeing a ghost.
