Chapter 6.MEETING AGAIN- 1 novel Unconditionally
After a few weeks, I decided to move out of the city to pursue my dream college which was in the neighboring country. I worked hard and after years I made it as one of the best top graduate student.
I applied for a job and I was taken in. I focused on doing my best and dedicated my life to the company.
And here I was in one of the biggest company in our country. I was the acting manager and living my dream as I wanted, deep down I wasn't happy but all I needed was my job to move forward, as stupid as it sounded I was in the same company as Jena, she was an intern here and my subordinate.
she recently got in with my help, I did it for old times sake. She was looking for a job and she stumbled here, I interviewed her and tried acting like I didn't know her but it didn't work, she still remembered me very well.
At the interview, she wasn't the best we talked to, but she was better than most and looked desperate so I hired her, everything about her was a mess, her hair was somehow scruffy, her skin pale and dry, and dress code was always old fashioned. She looked lost and was very clumsy, I tried helping her in all ways I could and avoided talking about the past.
As for me I changed nothing, I only looked twice finer than I had looked then because of the money and status which I now had, I also discovered that I loved being a lesbian more than a bisexual so I kept it that way, in all the past years I vowed to never touch myself or fuck around, that was the punishment I gave myself forever losing the most beautiful and friendly woman in my life. There and then I got invites by bold ladies that saw past my cold aura and treatment, sadly I turned them down.
Today was a different day, I was very nervous as I fixed my suit and brushed my fingers through my short hair, the C.E.O was finally gracing us with her presence, the five years I had worked for the company I had never seen the C.E.O's face, I reported to her assistant directly instead of her, rumor had it she was a strong, rich, powerful, independent woman in the business industry, I didn't mind that but for some reason, her name sounded familiar and my heart was driving me nuts.
"Miss Juli Robinson." I whispered and tasted the name on my tongue.
It was a great name, I only hoped she was kind to workers as much as she was hard working.
A knock pulled me out of my thoughts, I quickly went to the door of my office and pushed it open.
"Hurry Leo, the C.E.O is in the elevator." Hallie one of my good friends said while panting.
I quickly rushed to the elevator with her and waited patiently with my beating heart and lowered gaze.
When the elevator door opened, the first thing I saw were beautiful long legs in very high heels, as the legs moved and stood in front of me, I slowly lifted my head and trailed my eyes upon the figure in front of me, she was in a black- short- striped skirt, that showed off her curves, my eyes went to her upper part.
She wore a white blouse that Looked perfect on her, it was cut low on her neck exposing her breasts slightly, she really had a perfect body, when I lifted my eyes to meet her own I took in a sharp breath.
She was beautiful with long-brown silk hair that fell on her shoulders perfectly, her red lips were plump and full, she had a beauty spot at the corner of her mouth which I was sure I had seen somewhere before, she was in shades so I couldn't see her eyes and that somehow disappointed me.
I composed myself when I noticed how her secretary and bodyguard were staring at me.
"Welcome Miss Robinson." I said with a smile while extending my hand to her.
She looked at it for a second then at me.
"There is no need to be so formal, we were once friends after all." she said as I frowned and kept quiet for a minute.
She seriously was confusing me for someone else, in college I was a loner just like in high school, only Jena was my friend.
