Chandler's words instantly relieved Adrian, Jenson, and Tyrone. They thought Chandler was showing interest in Helen. It seems they were overthinking it. Just then, Helen walked back in. "I've placed the orders for everyone," she told them.

Jenson chuckled, the awkwardness gone. He approached Helen. "Thanks. Since we're all here, let's enjoy ourselves."

Adrian also welcomed Helen. "We're all family here, so there is no need for formalities. Helen, do you play cards?"

Helen nodded. "A bit."

"Great." Adrian then suggested, "Let's play cards tonight."

He called for a new deck, and everyone settled down to play. Although Helen knew how to play, she wasn't exceptional at it. Still, she managed well and ended up winning quite a bit.

"Helen, how are you so good?" Jenson lamented, looking at his dwindling chips and then at Chandler. "Chandler, can't you go easy on us?"

Chandler responded calmly, "It's just a game. Where's the fun if I don't play it seriously?"

Jenson was almost in tears. He realized how formidable Chandler was. With him and Helen teaming up, it felt like an unbeatable combination.

"I can't take this anymore. Tyrone, Adrian, step it up!" Jenson pleaded.

Jenson's pleas had Tyrone and Adrian exchanging looks and shaking their heads. "When have we ever won against Chandler in cards?"
