After sending Chandler off, Helen logged onto SK Group's intranet.

Even though Slyvia looked perfectly healthy at the moment, Helen alone knew that the poison was still in her bloodstream. It was like a ticking time bomb that could go off anytime. And when it did, Slyvia would be as good as dead.

She needed to do all she could to cure her before that happened.

She bypassed the security systems and contacted Magpie, who was known as the modern Father of Medicine. Magpie was just a codename. His real name was Shawn Novis.

"Urgent. Reply at once."

In fact, the name Magpie was taboo in Grand Cathay. If she so much as looked up the name, she might get caught by the authorities monitoring the web and get herself and her family investigated.

It was more trouble than it was worth.

Over at Freca, Shawn immediately stopped what he was doing and took out his phone when he heard it ping with a notification.

Both his phone and number had been encrypted by the professionals at SK Group, so it was untraceable. Only those belonging to SK can send him messages.

When he saw the message coming from Hela, he almost dropped his phone in shock.

Was he reading this correctly? Had the mysterious Hela really sent him a private message asking him for help?

He rubbed his hands together excitedly before tapping swiftly on his keyboard and sending a reply.

"Elaborate."

Helen sent over Slyvia's medical records immediately.

Shawn leaned against the wall. He looked through the records and quickly came to a verdict.

"She will need a blood transfusion. That will give her a few more years."

A blood transfusion was a complicated surgery. Most surgeons wouldn't perform the surgery unless they were confident in their skills. To Shawn, however, a surgery like this was difficult but not impossible.

Melody had Type A blood, while Aaron had Type B. Biologically, it was impossible for them to have a child with Type O blood.

Helen recalled how Faye had insisted that she was Melody's biological daughter when they'd first met.

Melody hadn't been in the right mind at the time. Deliriously, she'd mumbled something about Faye being someone else's daughter. Helen hadn't paid much attention to it at the time, but looking back, it made a lot of sense.

Faye wasn't a Boston by blood.

Thinking of Aaron and Cameron, who were both in a coma, she immediately closed her laptop and went to the living room, her expression grave.

"Mom," she said seriously. "Do you know which hospital Aaron and Cameron are at?"

"Yeah, I know. Do you want to visit them? I don't think you can, actually," Melody said gravely. "Faye has stationed a lot of her own people around their rooms. We can't get close to them."

"We need to bring them home right now!"
