"I'm not interested," Helen said, ready to hang up.

"Don't be so hasty, Ms. Boston. Maybe tomorrow night I can surprise you like I did at yesterday's party?" Otto's voice dripped with intrigue.

Helen had to admit he struck a nerve. Or rather, his real aim from the start was the next day's gathering. The USB he'd given her at the Boston residence was just a ploy to make her believe he could quickly fix her pressing issues.
