“Annie?” Kimberly noticed Anastasia staring at Jason in a daze and awkwardly tugged her arm. “As expected, women have no resistance to handsome guys, she thought.

Anastasia came back to her senses and covered her forehead, realizing that she had lost her composure.

In fact, Anastasia didn’t have much knowledge about handsome guys. Alastor was very handsome, and in Kimberly’s words. he was incredibly good–looking, akin to a precious treasure.

If Alastor was the bossy CEO, Jason would definitely be the unruly type of guy.

“That’s Jason!” Kimberly opened the door and pulled Anastasia into the living room.

Anastasia had never been so embarrassed in her life. “Yeah, I can see that…”

“This is fate!” Kimberly had already started to plan for her best friend. “Shame on Alastor. Just cheat on him!”

Anastasia raised her hand and knocked on Kimberly’s head. “If I do that, how am I any different from him?”

Kimberly snorted. “An eye for an eye.”

Anastasia didn’t speak and plopped down on the couch in Kimberly’s room. There will be a good show in just a few hours.”

“What show?” Kimberly brought Anastasia bread and milk before approaching her curiously,

Anastasia took out her tablet, put it on the table, and activated the surveillance cameras installed in advance at home.

Kimberly was stunned and gave Anastasia a thumbs–up. “Have you… made up your mind to divorce him?”

“Divorce? Why divorce? If I don’t divorce, then Felicia will always be the shameful mistress.” Anastasia leaned on the sofa

with a hoarse voice.

“I’m already dying. Nothing else matters anymore,” she mused.

Anastasia still remembered that when they had just gotten married, Alastor’s mother came to her to cause trouble. Alastor said to his mother, “Only widowhood will happen in my marriage, never divorce.”

Alastor had always maintained the image of a good husband in public, and divorce wasn’t a worthwhile option for him.

“Widowhood… Anastasia mused.

Anastasia rubbed her temples and put on a wry smile.

“What Alastor said came true,” she thought to herself.

*Annie, you look really pale. How about joining me for a beauty treatment later?” Kimberly felt concerned for Anastasia.

Anastasia nodded with a smile. “Okay…”

She not only planned to have a beauty treatment but also wanted to go shopping and indulge in some retail therapy.

She would use Alastor’s card.

After all those years of being married to him, she had been way too compliant, and enough was enough.

Kimberly took Anastasia to the mall and headed straight to the luxury store. “This is a new arrival. Looks nice, right? It’s around 26,000 dollars.”
