Alastor merely looked at her with a frown.

Felicia screamed in fear and wailed. “Alastor! Alastor, come here!”

“Anastasia, put the knife down,” Alastor said in a low voice.

“Oh? You’re finally coming downstairs, huh?” Anastasia dragged Felicia and pushed her onto the couch. She tossed the fruit knife aside. “Alastor, when did you become so childish? What have I done to deserve this? How could you ask me over while your mistress is here?”

Alastor’s expression darkened at once. “Aren’t you the same? How could you announce your relationship with your lover and ask for my blessing?”

Anastasia took a deep breath.

She did not think Alastor was such a competitive person before.

“It’s fine for you to be competitive in the business world, but we’re talking about divorce now. It’s not a joke. Moreover, you are the one who suggested it. Are you going back on your word now?” Anastasia argued with Alastor in despair.

“Yes, so what if I want to go back on my word?” Alastor looked at Anastasia indifferently.

wered her head and smiled. “What are you taking revenge on me for?”

“You aborted the baby without my consent, hung out with your lover, and schemed against me from the beginning until the end. Which one of these do you think I should let you off?” Alastor was also infuriated.

Anastasia was really hurt all over by Alastor’s accusations.

Anastasia’s throat hurt severely, and she did not want to talk anymore.

She had “aborted” the baby because she was going to die.

Alastor knew about it, and he was outside the operating room.

He would rather sacrifice her life to keep his child alive.

However, he now blamed her for aborting the baby and began to retaliate against her.
