Alastor did not retort, probably because he also lacked confidence in himself.

After seeing Anastasia get in a taxi, Alastor also took a taxi back.

As soon as Alastor got out of the taxi, he saw a figure squatting in the corner by the door of the Lopez residence.

Alastor frowned and stepped forward. “What are you doing here?”

Felicia’s eyes were red with tears. She also learned from Naomi that Alastor would spend the night in the Lopez residence tonight.

“Alastor, why did Anastasia answer your phone? Did you go to find her again?” Felicia stood up and cried as she tried to hug Alastor.

Alastor dodged and said in a deep voice, “Felicia, I told you that I won’t get a divorce.”

Felicia was stunned and lost control of her emotions. “You said you would be responsible for me. I am carrying your baby. How can I marry someone else?”

Alastor did not speak.

“Say something!” Felicia began to shout.

“I told you to get an abortion. You said you must keep it! I have a wife! We just had some misunderstandings. I don’t want to divorce now that the misunderstandings have been cleared” Alastor raised his hand and rubbed his eyebrows. Even if he divorced, he would not marry Felicia.

“Alastor, you’re now saying you’ve solved the misunderstanding and don’t want me anymore… You don’t love Anastasia at all. If you love her, will you misunderstand her for so many years? You’re just used to being with her like you were used to being with me, Alastor. You love me..” Felicia cried and asked Alastor to look at her. “Alastor, I know you have feelings for me. Please?”

Felicia panicked. She did not want to lose Alastor.

She threatened Alastor by various means during this period. She could only be free from worries about basic needs if she stayed with Alastor.

“Alastor, Anastasia wants to hold an art exhibition, so she came back to pester and coax you. She doesn’t love you at all. You can tell she has feelings for Jason. You know that…” Felicia panicked.

Alastor frowned and looked at Felicia. “This is about Anastasia and me. Grandma is already asleep. Don’t make trouble here.”

Felicia was stubborn and did not care about that. “Alastor, I am carrying your baby. You can’t leave me alone.”

Alastor was a little annoyed. “I’ll ask Lionel to drive you home.”
