Chapter 154
Jason looked away. “I won’t listen… I don’t care. I just want to be with you.”
Anastasia lowered her head and sighed. “I have to go, Jason. I can’t accompany you forever. You have to learn to grow up.”
Over the years, Anastasia could see that Jason had changed a lot.
However, she knew that he could be more mature.
“Kimberly, what do you think?” Anastasia asked in a low voice.
Although Kimberly’s family did not have good family conditions, her family was still well-off and managed to support her to study abroad.
Kimberly was also a good girl. Besides, she liked Jason too.
“What do you mean?” Jason looked at Anastasia. She could see the sadness in his eyes.
“I just think… that you can’t continue to be alone anymore. You have to find a partner and distract yourself,” Anastasia whispered. “I think Kimberly is a good choice. Although she’s a few years older than you, I can see that she likes you.”
“Even if you don’t want me, don’t give me away.” Jason clenched his fingers and said, “Don’t be too cruel to me.”
Anastasia was stunned for a moment, and her heart tightened.
She thought, “Did I give him away?”
She never treated Jason as her possession. “Jason, you do not belong to me. Don’t say that. I just treat you as my younger
brother.”
“Younger brother…” Jason smiled bitterly.
“Jason, from now on, you don’t have to bother yourself with anything about me. Don’t involve yourself in any matters related to Sienna or anyone else.” Anastasia looked at Jason nervously, trying to remind him not to do stupid things.
Perhaps, she was wrong.
She was a sinner who would only bring misfortune to others.
She had already harmed Jason once. Hence, she could not let him get hurt again.
Jason looked at Anastasia. “Are you trying to draw a line with me?”
Anastasia lowered her head and said nothing.
“Anastasia, what’s so good about Alastor?” Jason did not understand why Anastasia refused to let go of Alastor after all Alastor had done.
“Jason, you’ll understand when you get married.” Anastasia could not explain it. “Tell me the truth. Does Sienna’s disappearance have something to do with you?”
Jason frowned. “No, I don’t know Sienna.”
“Jason! Don’t lie to me.” It was not that Anastasia believed Alastor. It was because Alastor did not need to lie about such a thing.
“I went to see her, but she was not in the rental house when I arrived.” Jason looked at Anastasia and indicated that he was not lying.
