The roses in the garden of Rose Villa had withered, and in the pavilion, Arthur sat alone at a table with a bottle of wine and a glass. 

The scene was far different from the one in the photos. Now, the night was dark, and the surroundings felt desolate and empty. 

His phone rang, and as he looked at the screen, his brow furrowed, and his expression darkened. 

But after staring at his phone for a while, he suddenly let out at low laugh. 

He thought to himself, “She is not even divorced yet, and she’s already so close to another man. 

If we do get divorced, she’ll probably jump right into another relationship.” 

He dialed Grace’s number, his voice cold and indifferent. “Is the footage ready yet?” 

Grace’s lone was extremely respectful. “Not yet.” 

“Once it’s done, send it directly to me,” Arthur said in a low voice before hanging up the phone. 

Grace was left stunned.

Charlotte thanked the waiter and then shifted her gaze away. 

Mabel and Tina had finished their game, but because Jayce was. still there, they were both acting a little reserved. 

Halfway through the meal, Charlotte got up to go to the restroom. While touching up her makeup, her phone buzzed. 

Diana: [The client is pushing for the final footage. You’ll need to work late tonight.] 

Charlotte: [Got it.] 

She didn’t think much of it. After finishing her makeup, she returned to find that Jayce was no longer at the table. 

“Where did he go?” she asked, puzzled. 

Tina adjusted her glasses and replied, “A very chic lady came over and spoke to him for a while, and then he just left.” 

Charlotte immediately thought of Delia. 

She nodded but didn’t dwell on it. However, when it came time to pay the bill, she was told someone had already taken care of

She pulled out her phone and sent a message to Jayce. 

Charlotte: [Mr. Caldwell, you’re too kind. I promised I’d treat you.]

She got into the car with Tina and Mabel, ready to drive off, but just as she was about to start the engine, she spotted a familiar figure stumbling drunkenly, with two people supporting him. 

She thought, “Sebastian? 

What happened to him? Why is he so drunk?” 

Charlotte told Tina, “Wait for me in the car.” 

“Okay.” 

She quickly got out and approached them. 

Two men were helping Sebastian, and a woman beside him was talking to him. His cheeks were flushed as he nodded in 

response. 

“Sebastian.” 

Charlotte jogged up to them, stopping them and reaching out to support Sebastian’s shoulder. “Why did you drink so much? I’ll take you home.” 

“Lottie…”
