Chapter 126 You Fell for Her? 

Jennifer immediately said, “Arthur, did you hear that? Why haven’t you divorced her yet? Our family doesn’t accept someone like her.” 

Charlotte pressed her lips together, looking at Arthur’s cold and stern face. He ignored Jennifer’s words and approached Charlotte, staring intently as he said, “You should check on Julius.” 

Charlotte lowered her eyes, hiding her self–mocking gaze. She knew Arthur wouldn’t respond directly to the divorce issue. 

Charlotte turned and entered the hospital room.

Arthur looked at Jennifer, his brows furrowing. “Mom, are you bored with a peaceful life and looking for some excitement? Should I bring Uncle back?” 

“How dare you!” Jennifer looked at Arthur in disbelief. “Arthur, didn’t you hate her? Why are you unwilling to divorce her, then? Don’t tell me you’ve fallen for her.” 

“You must be joking,” Arthur replied coldly. “I just think she is a competent wife who can save me a lot of trouble.” 

Jennifer sighed weakly, “It seems you have no intention of divorcing her.” 

Arthur’s tone grew colder. “I don’t want to hear that again.”

Jennifer composed herself and regained her dignified demeanor. “Sarah, why do you look so pale?” 

Sarah forced a smile. “Maybe I didn’t sleep well last night. Ma’am, you came early today.”

Jennifer replied, “Yes, I came to see how Julius was doing and to 

take him home.” 

“I also came for Julius. I even had the servants make his favorite snacks,” Sarah smiled and then bent down to pick up a box that had fallen on the ground. 

“But the snacks fell on the floor and can’t be eaten now.” 

Jennifer chuckled, “Sarah, you’re really a good girl. It was my mistake back then. If it weren’t for me, you and Arthur would be very happy now.” 

“Mom, you can go back now,” Arthur interjected, cutting off Jennifer. 

Jennifer gave Sarah a meaningful glance before walking away. 

“Arthur.” Sarah maneuvered her wheelchair closer to Arthur, looking up at him with a pale face. Tears shimmered in her eyes. “Are you not going to divorce her?” 

“It’s none of your business.” A slight irritation flashed in Arthur’s eyes. 

He thought, “Why does everyone want me to divorce Charlotte?

The irritated emotion surged within Arthur’s chest, casting at layer of frost over his handsome face and giving him an air of being unapproachable. 

Sarah bit her lip. “But you promised me back then…”
