Mabel noticed Julius‘ gaze and shot him a glance. “What are you looking at? You think I am pretty?” 

Julius snorted coldly and turned his face away, refusing to look 

at Mabel, thinking to himself, “What an annoying little brat.” 

Mabel also huffed, turning her head to the other side as the two little ones ignored each other.. 

Charlotte observed this scene and fell silent for a moment. 

She suddenly felt worried about how the upcoming week would go. She hoped these two little ones could make things easier for her. 

Charlotte opened the front passenger door and sat down, 

fastening her seatbelt. As she lifted her gaze, she caught Arthur staring at her thoughtfully. 

Charlotte became alert. “Why are you looking at me like that?” 

Arthur started the car and spoke in his deep, magnetic voice. “You seem to like baby girls. How about we have a daughter?” 

Charlotte’s eyes widened in shock as if she had heard a horror

story. “Don’t tell scary stories, okay? I’m prone to nightmares.” 

Arthur glanced at Charlotte and replied, “Once you regain your memory, you will be willing.”

Charlotte tried to maintain her distance from Arthur, and the thought of wanting to divorce him grew stronger. 

She took out her phone and messaged Diana: [Dear, help me. Introduce me to that amazing lawyer you know, hurry.] 

Diana replied with a question mark and then shared Charlotte a 

contact info. 

Charlotte: [Thank you.] 

She quickly added the contact, but the person didn’t reply immediately. Charlotte’s expression was serious as she thought, “At least I can’t file for divorce right now. I need to help Sebastian through this difficult time.” 

The sycamores by the roadside stood tall and lush, their shade bringing a refreshing coolness. 

The black–and–gold gate recognized Arthur’s license plate and opened automatically, allowing the luxury car to enter the 

garage. 

Charlotte undid Mabel’s seatbelt and lifted her out of the car. “Let’s go. I’ll show you your room.” 

“Okay,” Mabel said, holding Charlotte’s hand, her beautiful big eyes filled with curiosity as she looked around.

Arthur said, “Aren’t you going to attend to your son?” 

Charlotte blurted out, “He’s your son, too.” 

As soon as Charlotte said this, she felt Arthur’s gaze turn icy, a chill wrapping around her. 

Charlotte bit her tongue, thinking, “Why did I bother to argue?” 

She walked over and leaned down to undo Julius‘ seatbelt, her expression very indifferent. “Alright.” 

Julius wasn’t very satisfied, thinking, “Why isn’t she carrying me? She treats that girl so gently, but she’s so cold towards me, her own son.” 

Julius pouted, standing still as he looked at Charlotte, “Carry 

me.” 

“You’re being unreasonable.” Charlotte frowned, “You’re already five years old. I can’t carry you anymore.” 

But Julius stubbornly insisted, “No way. You have to carry me.” 

Charlotte looked at little Julius, whose face resembled Arthur’s closely, feeling like their personalities were merging. They both seemed to be relentless in getting what they wanted.
