Charlotte was surprised to find Arthur still here. It seemed that he hadn’t slept last night either. 

Charlotte just glanced at him and then looked away, walking straight towards the kitchen. 

Arthur looked at her slender back and frowned. He had insomnia again last night and a headache. Her cold and resolute look kept appearing in his mind. 

He couldn’t understand why she suddenly wanted to divorce him after five years. He thought, “She could tolerate my indifference before. Why can’t she tolerate it now? I even promised her that I would give her the warmth she wanted. As my wife, what else is she not satisfied with?” 

With this in mind, Arthur had sat on the sofa all night, but he still couldn’t figure it out. 

After what had happened last night, Charlotte became even colder towards Arthur, as if they were enemies. 

Just then, Arthur’s mobile phone rang. He took it out and saw that it was Barrett calling.

“I see.” Arthur hung up the phone. The sunlight shone on him, but he felt a little cold. 

He turned around and looked at Charlotte. The morning five years ago and what had happened in the past five years came into his mind. 

Arthur thought, “I wronged her. Charlotte is innocent. She really liked me in the past, right? That was why she endured my indifference and tried to warm my heart. But I’ve always been bothered by this matter.”
