With the property division settled, everything else would be straightforward. 

“Come back in 30 days to get your divorce certificate. If you don’t show up, the divorce request will be considered withdrawn.” 

As Charlotte walked out of the Courthouse, she felt an overwhelming sense of relief, as if a massive burden had been lifted from her shoulders. 

In thirty days, she and Arthur would have nothing to do with 

each other! 

“Congratulations!” 

Evie rushed over, handing her flowers. 

Charlotte accepted them with a bittersweet smile. “We still have the cooling–off period.”

Arthur walked out behind her and immediately noticed a familiar–looking girl. 

He’d seen her before. She used to be around Ms. Aroma.

Arthur’s eyes darkened as he asked, “What’s Ms. Aroma been up to lately? I have a business proposition to discuss with her.” 

Diana’s expression remained cold. “I’ll pass along the message.” 

“I’ll be waiting.” 

Arthur tossed back before walking away, not even bothering with Julius. 

“Wait!” 

Charlotte called out to him. 

His silhouette froze in the sunlight. He didn’t turn around immediately, and no one could see his expression. “What is it?” he asked, his voice hoarse. 

“There are some things that need to be cleared up,” Charlotte 

said.

They had just finalized their divorce. In thirty days, they would be nothing to each other.
