Chapter 59 He Wasn’t Satisfied 

Charlotte stared at Arthur’s back, filled with confusion.

She thought, “Why is he so obsessed with making me regain my memory? 

What difference can it make? 

He still loves Sarah, and Julius has agreed to their divorce. Even if I ‘recover my memory,‘ I will stick to my current mindset.” 

She realized that she had never truly understood Arthur. 

Gideon sighed. “Do you think hypnosis is that easy? You can’t just do it casually. It could end up making the person go mad.” 

Arthur’s brow furrowed. “Then what do you suggest?” 

Gideon replied, “Hypnosis requires a lot of preparation. First, you need a skilled hypnotist. Second, the person being hypnotized can’t have any resistance or it will fail. The consequences could be severe. So, I recommend letting things happen naturally.” 

Arthur’s face darkened. 

He was clearly not satisfied with this answer. 

Just then, Charlotte’s phone rang again. It was Camille calling. 

“I’ll take this call.”

Camille’s voice was cold. “Charlotte, you’re such an irresponsible daughter. This weekend is your father’s birthday. Do I really have to remind you that? Have Arthur and Julius come, too.” 

Charlotte tightened her grip on the phone. With everything going on with the divorce, she had completely forgotten that. 

“Okay, I’ll come.” 

Camille’s lone grew harsher. “Not just you. Arthur and Julius must come as well. If they don’t, don’t bother coming back again!” 

With that, Camille hung up. 

Charlotte felt a suffocating pressure as though someone had grabbed her throat. She had to pause to catch her breath. 

Inside the office, Gideon looked at Arthur. “You seem so eager for her to regain her memory. Why?” 

Arthur replied, “I just want things to go back to normal.” 

Gideon pushed his glasses up and gave him a teasing look. “It’s rare to see uncertainty on your face. Seems like her memory loss really has thrown you off.” 

“Thrown me off?” Arthur snorted coldly. “I just don’t like things. getting out of my control.” 

“Fine, you can think whatever you want. But this can’t be rushed. Take it slow, okay?” Gideon said, his tone patient. He
