Arthur thought, “Where did she hear these words? But none of this matters.” 

He said coldly, “Do you want to argue with a five–year–old boy about this? Charlotte, how old are you?” 

Charlotte sneered, “Because he is only five years old, his thoughts are simple and pure. He said he hopes we get divorced, which means he doesn’t want me as his mother anymore. 

Arthur, can’t you help us?” 

She didn’t understand why Arthur brought Julius to appear in front of her and also didn’t understand what Julius was thinking. 

Charlotte had used been care and worry about that, but she didn’t at all now. 

Seeing Arthur’s face getting colder and colder, she said cautiously, “You can see that Mabel is very afraid of you. She is just a child. Don’t scare her, okay?” 

For Mabel, her tone softened a bit. 

Arthur’s expression became terrible. “Charlotte.” 

However, she just turned around and went back, sitting directly next to Mabel.

Mabel was stunned for a moment after being hit. She looked at Julius with fear in her eyes and kept shrinking back. 

Charlotte immediately hugged her and looked at Julius, frowning, “What did you do? How could you hit her? Apologize to her!” 

Hearing this, Julius widened his eyes in shock and looked at Charlotte in disbelief. He never expected that she would be so mean to him for someone else. 

“Charlotte.” Arthur came back and saw this scene. His expression turned gloomy. “He is your son. As his mother, is it right for you to treat him like this?” 

Charlotte’s expression was serious. “It’s wrong for him to hit her. Since you said I’m his mother, am I allowed to educate him?” 

Arthur frowned and looked at Mabel in Charlotte’s arms. Mabel was obviously frightened. Her face was pale, and there were even tears in her big eyes. 

He then looked at Julius. “Apologize.” 

Julius‘ body trembled slightly, and his hands clenched into fists. Then, he said reluctantly, “I’m sorry.”

Arthur followed him immediately. But before leaving, he looked at Charlotte with a highly displeased look.

“Ms. Lottie, I’m fine.” Mabel, in Charlotte’s arms, said in a soft voice, “Is that kid your son?” 

Charlotte was helpless and said, “Yes.” 

Mabel said, “Then he must be your baby, right?” 

Charlotte answered, “He was indeed my baby before.”
