Jasmine's POV

When I got home, My son was already asleep.

“ Did he eat dinner before sleeping?” I asked Cherry when I saw him cleaning and placing David's toys inside the box.

“ Yes, ma'am. He fell asleep while he was waiting for you here in the living room. That's why I carried him inside your room, ma'am, “ she told me. I sat on the couch and massaged my forehead when I saw her holding something.

“ What is that?” I asked her, pointing to the paper in her hand.

“ It was a David drawing, ma'am. “ She handed it to me. It was a picture of a family. He wrote down his name, my name, and Diego's name. I smiled at it.

“ Your son is such a lovely kid, ma'am Jaz. He kept on telling stories about how great mom you are and how Sir Diego takes good care of him. He's speaking like a grown man,” she chuckled. Her words touched my heart.

I didn't know that she sees me that way even though I am busy with my work and sometimes I can't prioritize him when I'm tired.

“ Thank you for keeping an eye on my son, Cherry. “ She looked at me with a broad smile.

“ I should be the one saying that, ma'am. Because of you, my mother is getting better now. She was discharged from the hospital last week. I also found out that you paid her medical bills, ma'am. Thank you, ma'am Jasmine.” She stood up And bowed to me.

“ You deserve it. You're a kind woman. A loving daughter and sister. “ I told her. I could see how happy she was.

“ Thank you for accepting me as a maid, ma'am Jasmine. If it wasn't for you maybe I don't know what will happen to my family. She said while wiping her tears.

I stood up and gave her a hug.

“ Just let me know if you need help. I'm always here,” I told her, which made her nod. After that, I went to my room to check on my sleeping son.

“ You're such a lovely son. “ I caressed his head while a smile formed on my lips.

“ You always made my day with happiness “ before I went to work earlier. He asked Cherry to teach her how to cook for our breakfast. He really wakes up early to do that. That's why when I woke up, he was not on the bed.

“ I love you, baby; I love you so much” I gave him a kiss on his chicks.

After that, my phone rang, and when I saw the caller, a smile formed on my lips. I immediately answered it.

“ Hey,” He smiled at me. He's already on the bed. Hugging his pillow.

“ Have you eaten?” That's the first thing he asked me. I shook my head and showed him my son, who was sleeping deeply.

“Not yet. I just arrived earlier. How about you? Did you eat dinner?” I asked him. He nodded at me.

“ You should eat. What about David?” he asked, sitting on his bed while fixing his hair.
