Chapter 109: David's Father

Jasmine's POV

“ David was Travis's Son. But he didn't know about it,” I started. They thought Travis just wanted me back, and they thought I didn't have the intention of giving him another chance without knowing the real reason for my actions, which they just now found out about.

“ But, Sir Travis has been courting you-” I cut Jacob from talking. I already knew what he wanted to tell me.

“ I hid and still hid my son from him. I actually don't have any plans of coming back here. All I want is to stay abroad, that's it, but Destiny really played me well.” It's really not my job to explain this to them but I just want them to know where I am coming from and why I don't like to be with him again.

“ I hid David for five years. I didn't inform Travis about it. After what he did to me. After he cheated on me. After he betrayed me and abandoned me. I can't give him another chance to catch things up. And most especially I don't want him to meet David. He had no right at all. “ I firmly said. I know they could understand me. Especially Ryan and Rhian. They knew what I experienced in his hand.

“ Did Sir Diego know about this?” Rhian asked me, which made me nod. They were shocked like they didn't expect Diego to still choose to stay with me.

“ He knew, even in the first place. He is the reason why, until now, I didn't give up on raising my son. He stood up Like his own father. He cared about him and showered him with love. He helped me when he found out about everything.” I told them. I continue telling them how kind and great he is.

They were amazed when they found out that Diego had helped and convinced me to always stay positive.

“ You guys are seeing Travis talking to me, begging me to give him another chance, which I couldn't. “ Because he is a scumbag. How could he let someone hurt me? I actually don't want to bring back the past again and again but I couldn't stop.

I couldn't wish for anything but only Diego and my son. My life would not be complete without them.

I started telling them the whole story about what happened five years ago until now. They were admiring how pure Diego's heart and his intention.

Even me, I will never forget those days he never left by my side. How he chose me and my son ever anything else. How he helped me to grow and learn more.

He was the reason why I became a strong woman. He was the reason why I became a good mom. He taught me a lot of things even though sometimes he's also struggling.

They all looked at Diego.

“ Now I know what happened and what he did. I salute him” Jacob said while looking at Diego.

“ He was the only man who helped me that time. No one ever dared, they just mocked me and saw me as a small person” I told them.

“ He didn't deserve to be in that situation right now” I tried myself not to cry in front of them. These past few days I know that I'm not into myself.

“ Ma'am Jaz, We're really sorry we don't have any idea about your situation. Erica said, which made me smile at her.

“ No, it's okay. “ I smiled at them but I can read that they are worried about me.
