Chapter 34: Satisfying

Jasmine's POV

After that day, I didn't give Travis a chance to talk to me. When I know he has plans to talk, I avoid him unless it's important. Why would I even talk to him?

That day, when Stacy found out that we were both stuck in the storage room, she went mad at me, saying that I was trying to steal Travis from her.

Why would I do that if, in the first place, I wish never to see him again or even talk to him? I had already cleared my intention and told her that I had nothing to do with him, but she didn't want to believe my words.

We were both stuck in that room for hours, and I never talked to him after what he did. I know that he's only playing games, and I won't let him fool me again. That is not going to happen.

I also know that Stacy won't stop until she can't hurt me. Every time we met, she got mad at me without any reason. I already warned her that she should stop what she's doing or planning if she doesn't want us to stop what we are doing at their wedding.

She also didn't stop delaying the materials we needed until I had enough. I went to that company and told them personally that we will be finding another producer of the materials that we will be needing.

After that, someone called me on my phone, and it was an unregistered number. In my curiosity, I answered it. It turned out that it was Mr. Peterson, the one I met at Sabrina's birthday party.

At first, I wanted to end the call, but his words caught my attention. He's offering to substitute producing the materials we need for Stacy and Travis' wedding. I wasn't surprised when he knew that.

I agreed because if I were to still look for another company, I would just waste time. Besides, it's better to buy products made by His cousin's company. That's why we had a deal.

“ Ms. Jaz, someone is looking for you,” Rhian said while we were in the middle of the discussion.

“ I wasn't expecting any visitors but please tell that person to come here” I said and she nodded before she left.

“ Don't you think that you are interfering with our meeting?” Stacy furrowed her eyebrows. But I didn't answer her. Well, she's the reason why we are taking too long for this meeting.

She kept changing the plans, the designs, and especially the kind of material we should use. Not only that, she's like a sticky, ugly frog who always encircles her hand to her fiance, like someone would snatch him away from her at any moment.

“ Jasmine," I heard that voice again. I secretly rolled my eyes and smiled broadly.

“ Paul, what are you doing here?” I greeted him, and he suddenly grabbed my hand and kissed it. What the? I wanted to grab my hand back, but I realized that this would be a great opportunity to show off.

“ Nothing, I just want to see you. I also personally delivered the materials to you,” he winked at me. I chuckled, though I wanted to kick him right away.

“ So Paul was your supplier now, huh?” She asked. Paul sat beside me and smiled.

“ Is there any problem?” He asked Stacy. I don't know, but I feel Stacy and Paul didn't get along.
