Chapter 38: I Don't Care

Jasmine's POV

No one expected that they would see us be together as rumours spread that Travis was my ex-husband. I couldn't stop it from spreading because it was true. I don't know who did that. I've been very careful about that issue, but it's already happening. It's also affecting my work, though it's not that big a deal, but I couldn't stop people talking about me and Travis, especially now that I am working with their wedding.

Also, I couldn't figure out who the hell spread those rumours on social media. Luckily, we talked for days, and after that, I often heard about it.

“ Ms. Jaz Mr. Peterson is here” Rhian said while I'm busy with the new design that Stacy sent her last night.

I couldn't imagine how angry she was when she found out about the news. I was surprised, but she went to the bankers after she found out about it, while Travis had no reaction at all. I even confronted him the other day about it.

“ Are you the one who spread that news?” I angrily asked him, but he seemed to have no idea what I was talking about.

“ What? What kind of news was that?” He asked, confused. I was wrong to talk to him about that, but I told him about the news, and he just acted like it was normal to him.

“ I have nothing to do with that. Besides, that was true,” he said and smiled at me.

He's acting like being in the news article about that kind of issue is nothing.

“Ms Jaz. '' Rhian snapped her finger in front of me, which shocked me. I didn't know that she was there for long. And yes, I've heard what she said, but I just remembered what happened that day.

“ Yes, please tell him to come here”, I said, and in just a second, he was already in front of me, smiling.

He even gave me flowers. I didn't want to embarrass him, that's why I just accepted it.

“ You seemed busy today. I just want to ask you for a date.” I chuckled. He's really a straightforward person, and unlike other men, he's not scared to show his feelings.

“ I'm sorry, but you know I have no time for that kind of thing,” I answered him. I even saw him pouting, but that didn't work on me.

“ I know. I just want to make sure, " he said and chuckled.

When suddenly someone went in front of us, he looked at Paul like he was some kind of enemy.
