Chapter 40: Embarrassing

Jasmine's POV

I've been considering whether to attend that party, but Paul kept on sending messages that he would wait for me there.

He's really something else. Well I was surprised when he said that he owned that restaurant since I haven't checked any information about him for being busy this week.

After thinking for hours, I decided to come because he'd been calling me. At first, I didn't know where he got my number. Then I found out that he always kept on asking my assistant for my number.

I just wore a black dress and put on a little makeup. I actually like this new me right now. I could wear whatever I wanted with confidence. I was just staring outside of this mansion, and I was surprised because this house was owned only by him.

Well, Paul is not the kind of person who would show how wealthy he is. He's just simple, yet you can see that he's really a wealthy person.

I entered the house, and I think all of the people in there were Paul’s friends. They were wildly partying, and I was not expecting this. I thought it was just a formal party, but I was wrong. There was loud music, which you could hear outside. I was about to turn around to go home when someone held my wrist.

“ You came,” he smiled at me, and I could smell the liquor in his breath.

“ I came because I thought it was just a normal party, but I wasn't expecting that it would turn out like this,” I told him the truth so I could excuse myself.

I'd rather go home and rest than stay all night partying.

“ Oh, common. Let's just enjoy it; besides, you are already here,” he handed me a glass of drink, but I refused.

“ No, I mean, I have to go now,” I said, but the jerk pouted.

“ Just stay for an hour, “ he pleaded, and I was about to reject him when I saw him coming towards us.

“ What are you doing here?” His voice became mad while Paul went beside me and held my waist.

“ I invited her, '' Paul smoked while looking at me. I just smiled at him, too.

I saw him look at Paul's hand on my waist, but he excused us and offered me a seat at an available Table.

I looked around, and I could see people drinking, cuddling, and kissing. I even saw two people making out in a dark corner. I sigh and drink the wine Paul gave me.

“ Stop frowning, will you? Common enjoy this night. “ He said while looking at the others.

They are in the pool drinking while the other girls are wearing two-piece bikinis.

“ It's inappropriate seeing them”, I commented, but he just laughed.

“ You know what? Sometimes, we have to enjoy our lives and pause the stress in the meantime, " he said while others were greeting him.

“ Happy birthday, bro; well, just stay there,” one of his friends said.

“ Ahh! Shit! Faster! Ahhh! Fuck me hard! Hmmm!” shit! Damn it!

Someone covered my mouth, which made me want to shout, but I saw him place his pointed finger in his mouth, telling me not to make a sound.

Fuck! That was embarrassing. I feel like I watched live porn. I regret taking a look. I thought she needed help, but when I saw the girl was lying on the ground while his legs were spread, resting on that man's shoulder, and they were both naked.

He let go of me when I calmed down, and I hurriedly left.

I felt embarrassed when I heard him chuckle. I glared at him.

“ What are you doing in that kind of place?” he asked, and he didn't stop laughing at me.

I wanted to kick him so hard, right, and I feel like my face reddened because of what happened.

“ Stop it, Travis. It's not funny. I just want to help because I heard someone scream. I didn't know that they were doing something!” I defended myself, but he just chuckled. I feel irritated right now.

“Calm down. I'm not making fun of you. I just couldn't stop laughing because of your reaction earlier, “ he said, and I just rolled my eyes. Moments later, the two people left that place while they were still fixing their clothes, and they acted like nothing had happened.

I looked at Travis, but he just shrugged his shoulders, and that made me leave him there alone.

Damn it! That was embarrassing!
