Chapter 49: Yet He Cheated

“ Ma'am, don't worry; we already cleaned the whole office and made sure that there are no cameras in here. “ Rhian said. I nodded while typing something on my laptop.

“ Good; the next time we leave this office, I want all of you not to leave any important things, especially laptops or cell phones that have an important file in our company. “ I told her, and she knew what I meant.

I just couldn't stop thinking about how he hugged me and how he wanted to stay with us like that. But I won't let that happen anymore.

He already hurt me. I won't let him do it for the second time. I've sacrificed enough for us for years, but he didn't see it. He didn't see how much I tried to make our relationship work.

He never thought of how I sacrificed, how I endured those days when I was losing hope, and how I started to hate myself for being like that.

There's no night that I've waited for him to come back to our house, there's no day that I wish for him to show me love. There's no second that I wish we could bring back the love that we had before.

I tried, I fought because that's what lovers should do. To fight for their love for someone important to them.

While I'm fighting for us, on the other side, he's cheating on me. What was even worse was when he denied that he doesn't know me.
