Chapter 57: She Hurt Me

Jasmine's POV

“ Are you okay, Ma'am?” Rhian asked me while giving me a glass of water. I don't know where that girl went.

After what she did, she's the one who had the guts to get mad at me. I sigh and nod my head.

“ I'm okay. I just can't control myself earlier,” I told her while massaging my head. I knew she was scared because of what I did. But I didn't mean to hurt her.

“ She's really mad at you, ma'am, " she said and sat on the chair. She tried to look for her, but she was gone.

“ I know, that's not the first time she did that to me,” I told her. Actually, when she found out that I was Travis's ex-wife and when she cancelled our deal, Travis insisted on continuing the deal. She thought that I was the reason why Travis didn't agree to cancel or find another wedding planner.

“ Why did you still show up?! Are you trying to steal him from me?!” She shouted on her nerves. I don't have an idea about what she's talking about.

“ Ms. Forster, I'm sorry, but I can't understand you,” I told her while she started throwing everything in her office like she was threatening me. I tried to calm her down, but she didn't want to hear me either.

“ You're really good at pretending, are you?! I know you have plans, that's why you came back! Don't you dare do stupid things! “ She pointed at me, which made me irritated.

“ I don't have any other intention than working. If you want to find another wedding planner because you are threatened by my presence, then talk to your fiance. “ I told her that made her angry. She was about to slap me, but luckily, someone entered the room, or else I might hurt her if she slapped me.

When I looked at who it was, it was Travis. He saw that Stacy was about to slap me, but she didn't continue when he entered. I hurriedly left the room without looking at her.

That's the second time she tried to hurt me. And what happened earlier made me really angry.

“ Maybe she's threatened or insecure about you, ma'am”, Rhian uttered, and I looked at her.

“ That's impossible. There's nothing to be insecure about me,” I sigh while fixing my hair.

“ Nah, you're more beautiful than ma'am Stacy. Aside from that, you are more known in the field of business than she is. I mean, she's successful, too, but your success is very different from hers. You are even sexier, and what is most important, you have a good heart,” she said and smiled at me.

I smiled at her. She's right. Diego's company made me famous in the business field in an instant. At first, they didn't know me because I was not the face of the company.

“ Stop flattering me,” I chuckled, but then she grimaced when she looked at my back. When I turned around to see how it was, Stacy was angrily walking towards us together with Travis.

“ Oh no!” Rhian nervously looked at me. Damn it! She really doesn't like to stop. She's really looking for trouble.

“ There she is!” she pointed at me, and I stood up to look at her. I saw Rhian immediately stand up, holding the file in her hands.

“Ma'am Jaz,” Rhian called me in a concerned voice. I smiled at her, looked at Travis, and then looked at Stacy.

“ She's hurt me! Look!” she pointed at her arm. Travis was just looking at me, and she did not react.

“ First of all. I shouldn't be explaining myself to the two of you. But I didn't do that without any purpose. She mocked me. And when she gets mad, she suddenly pulls my hair so hard, and what do you expect me to do? Watch her hurting me?” I smirk. I couldn't just control myself. It seems like I went back to the last when Stacy pushed me while Travis was just looking at me in pain.
