Chapter 89: How Dare You!

Jasmine's POV

“ It's almost done.” Bianca giggled and even clapped her hands. Even if I were in her situation, I would get excited. I remember the day Travis and I were also excited about our wedding.

I couldn't describe my feelings that day, and I felt like I was going to cry. Every woman is dreaming of their wedding. Others just want a simple wedding and the other dream of an elegant one.

I was so excited today, and I couldn't hide my happiness. I felt nervous and happy while I cried walking down that aisle.

That day I feel like I am the luckiest woman in the world. I have a man who is a responsible, lovable, caring husband. He has everything that a girl dreams of.

But that happiness, excitement, and tears of joy didn't take too long. As days and years went by, he started losing interest in me.

He showed me that he was tired and that he couldn't fulfil his promises. Those promises, which I've been holding, are the reason why I accepted marrying him.

I was blinded by love. I didn't see that he would do those things to me. I was so in love with someone like him that I didn't mind him hurting me.

I was so dumb that day that I couldn't even figure out what I did wrong. I was in deep thought of asking him, confronting him, but when that day came, I regretted doing it. He didn't even admit that I was his wife. He refused to say that and told her that he didn't know me at all.

It hurt—so much. The only person I trusted, I loved the most. I gave myself and even my life betrayed me for years. I was so in love back then, but now I regret everything. I just want to focus on my son right now.

“ Hey, are you okay?” Bianca tapped my shoulder. I noticed that my tears fell down, I hurriedly wiped them.

Damn! I smiled at her while wiping my tears.

“ I'm fine,” I tried to show her my genuine smile. She just nodded.

“ You can talk to me if you have problems. I promise I'm a good listener “ she said, but I just smiled at her.

“ No, I was just happy to see that I made my client happy,” I told her. She held my hand and looked into my eyes.

“ I'm also happy that I have the chance to know you and meet you. You are such a kind person, Jaz. I really want to be friends with you,” she said. I hugged her. I had found another friend.

“ Of Course! Why not? “ She giggled and told me that she was just going to talk to Clarkson.
