I had rusted into the office in the bitter cold on Christmas Eve,because of a last minute business meeting.Being Harry and Mason's Personal Assistant,I didn't really have a choice but to show up and do my job despite being on Holiday break.

My Parents are expecting me for our usual Holiday tradition of Christmas movies,homemade mince pies and Hot Chocolates. I know I'm a little old for all that now,but my Mom is rather insistent that we keep our little family tradition.

I had left the comfort of my Christmas Eve pyjamas and I slipped into a black pencil skirt and blouse,to look the part because it's a meeting. It has nothing to do with Mason Knight.

But here I am,an hour after receiving his call and I'm sitting behind my desk stapling booklets like a good little assistant. The building was empty apart from the conference room that was filling up with men in suits.

I picked the booklets up in my hands and walked towards the Conference room,on the way I was preparing myself to be in a room full of Rich and Randy men. I know what they're like. They're just like him!!

Since I had my hands full,I pressed my back against the door and pushed it in. All the men in the room were chatting casually,while Mr Knight was sat on a comfortable swivel chair at the head of the long table.

I walked towards Mr Knight's side of the table and set the stack down beside his laptop. Of course standing so close,I could smell that amazing aftershave of his."Do you want me to hand these out,Mr Knight?"

"Yes."He replied,not bothering to look up from his work. Now he was the one that was avoiding eye contact with me.

I made my way around the table and placed a booklet down in front of each person.I recognised some of them as ones that he usually does business with,I've seen them around the office.

"Jamie,Isn't it?"A darker haired man had turned in his chair and was looking at me."I've noticed you around the place,well I couldn't help but notice you."He threw me a wink.

I smiled at him,trying my best to be polite since I was at work. So I reached the booklet out towards him, hoping that he would take it and keep his mouth shut.

The man took the booklet from me and smiled."So you like Sushi? I know a great little place that we could go."

I shook my head in reply."Um, I'm a Vegetarian actually."And I definitely wouldn't go out on a date with you,

is what I felt like saying but I knew that I couldn't."Excuse me,I should probably hand out the rest of these."

"A Vegetarian! I happen to know a place that does great vegetarian dishes.How about you and me sit down to a meal on New Years Eve?"He winked at me again.

Unable to help it I glanced to the top of the table to see if Mr Knight had even noticed what was happening,but of course he wasn't paying any attention. He was still glued to the work in front of him.

The dark haired man placed his hand on my leg,in a total perv move."So what do you say,Jamie? Are you up for it?"

I pulled away from him."No,Sorry. I'm seeing someone."Please,Take rejection easily,I thought. I didn't want him to mak a scene and I definitely didn't want his hands on me.

"Seeing someone doesn't mean that you are tied down,I'm sure you can give me one date."He placed his hand on my arm and leaned up to whisper."I know you've already given it up for the boss..Twice!. I don't mind having you after him."

The cheek of him,I don't usually feel like slapping people but him I wanted to. My cheeks were scarlet red with embarrassment and I slammed the files down on the desk in front of him. "Excuse me."

The entire conference room was quite as I walked out. I was worried about him making a scene,but I ended up being the one to do that. I didn't want anyone at work to find out about me sleeping with the boss,but now they know. Imagine what they must think of me.

I packed my things into my bag and grabbed my coat to leave. I didn't care if I was needed-I'm leaving!! I need to get out of here.

"Jamie.."Mason called my name as he walked towards my desk. He looked at me in confusion,like he didn't have a clue."You stormed out of the conference room like that..What the hell is going on?"

I ignored his question and I tried to walk past him,but he grabbed my arm and turned me around to face him. Just looking at his face had me all the more livid and I wanted to smack him like I did the other guy.He's been telling the men about us, most likely every little detail. How would that man have known otherwise?
