The signal here needed to be better.

Willow tried sending the recording for a while but it wouldn’t go through. Giving up, she decided to wait until she returned to Bordello to sort things out.

When she had gathered the ransom earlier, she wisely recorded her call to Jett. With that recording for comparison, she could prove to the police that the man’s voice in this new recording was indeed Jett’s.

With Skyler so entangled with the head of the kidnappers, even the police wouldn’t be fooled. Skyler would have to pay for her actions!

Lost in thought, a black Koenigsegg pulled up to the villa’s gate. Willow recognized it as Zayn’s car.

She figured Zayn had arrived, so Skyler would probably go inside the villa with him.

But to her surprise, the car stopped right at the gate.

Zayn got out and strode purposefully toward Skyler. “Skyler, my sister is back. Mom asked me to bring you over for dinner together.”

“Cece is back! She’s been abroad for so long; I’ve missed her!” Skyler was about to cling to Zayn’s arm playfully.

Suddenly, a cat pounced on Willow, scratching her hand

“Meow…

Willow bit her lip to stay silent, but the cat attracted Skyler’s attention.

Skyler hurried over to the wall and spotted Willow hiding there.

Noticing the phone in Willow’s hand, Skyler’s face changed. Skyler’s mind raced, quickly guessing what Willow might have done and how to handle it.

Zayn noticed the commotion and frowned seeing them struggle over the phone. “What’s going on?”

“Lolo knows the code to my door. When she came over today, I was taking a shower. She barged into the bathroom and started snapping pictures of me. She said she wants to post these photos online to ruin my career and destroy my reputation!
