She could tell that she had been thrown into the boot of a car. The car was speeding on a bumpy road,

which made her feel as though her organs were about to fall out.

The fear of the unknown was especially terrifying.

She was sure she hadn’t offended Matthew recently. The only possibility was that Wilhelmina had come up with a plan to make Matthew take action against her.

Just as she had expected, she was brought to the Lakecoast Villa. The second she saw Matthew, he

grabbed her collar.

“Willow, who let you hire someone to ram into Willa like that? Willow, you deserve to die!”

Hired someone to bang into Willa to kill her?

Willow thought that Wilhelmina and Skyler were best friends for a reason. Their methods of framing

others were carved out of the same mold.

Four years ago, Skyler hired someone to cause Zayn’s accident. However, she blamed Willow for it.

They were best friends, thus their methods of framing were similar to each other’s. They were just as

malicious as each other. Wilhelmina’s plan today probably had something to do with Skyler.

Once the bag was taken off her, Willow felt much better.

“I don’t know why Wilhelmina keeps targeting me. However, she’s nothing but an unimportant bystander

to me. I would never waste my energy to hurt her.

Before Willow could respond, Matthew continued sternly. “The driver of the van who banged into Willa. has admitted it. He took your money and intentionally plunged her life into jeopardy because you told him
