Caroline, who was deemed to be in a vegetative state by doctors, had regained consciousness briefly after several acupuncture sessions by the genius doctor, Wynn Even though she was only awake for less than a minute, as long as she had woken up the first time, she would surely wake up again.

Skyler swiftly approached Caroline’s bedside. If she removed the oxygen mask, Caroline would die, and those dark secrets could be buried forever.

As she reached out and was about to pull off Caroline’s oxygen mask, she noticed something peculiar. There were many surveillance cameras in the ward with glowing red dots.

Skyler grabbed Caroline’s hand, pretending to wipe her eyes a few times. “Mom, please wake up. If anything happens to you, I’ll never forgive myself. Mom, please wake up, okay?”

As Skyler spoke, she distinctly felt Caroline’s fingers twitch. She was alarmed but relieved to see that Caroline didn’t actually open her eyes.

She knew Caroline’s awakening was imminent. She had to quickly devise a plan to ensure Caroline would never wake up again.

She knew how desperate Willow was for money. She would do anything for money. As long as Skyler promised willow a large sum, Willow, in her desperation to save Aaron, would have no other choice.
