Chapter 378
Skyler hated that Zayn was ignoring her because of Willow.
Desperate to remind Zayn of her presence, Skyler reached out to grab his hand and said, “Zayn, Mr. Nightingale is a private person and never agrees to interviews. I can’t believe he’s volunteering to go on camera for Lolo!
“I think he must really like her. I’m sure she’s touched by his kind gesture and affection. I hope she and Mr. Nightingale will have their happily ever after. Lolo deserves it!”
Zayn was so furious that he almost swore. He shrugged off Skyler’s hand once more and stood stiffly in place, his jealousy practically rolling off his skin.
“Mr. Nightingale, Ms. Sanford, are you ready for the scene? We’ll start filming once you are,” Harvey said, raising his hand to signal the crew to get in their places.
Everyone was on edge as the camera rolled.
Willow wore a canary yellow gown with long sleeves and a matching shawl. The sash that cinched her waist was a deeper shade of yellow, accentuating her slender frame and the delicate flare of her hips.
The gown did not reveal much of Willow’s skin, and the high neckline concealed her chiseled collarbone, leaving only the graceful curve of her nape visible.
The canary yellow fabric contrasted against Willow’s fair skin.
Anyone tanner might not have been able to pull off the shade, but on Willow, the color complemented her bright complexion.
She had skin like a porcelain doll. The gown brought out her delicate beauty, and she seemed to glow as she smiled.
Willow looked like she was basking in silvery moonlight. There were no blemishes on her exposed skin. As she craned her slender neck, it seemed to glimmer under the lights.
The stylists had secured part of Willow’s hair with a comb and matching yellow silk ribbons, which cascaded down her back with the rest of her dark locks. At that moment, Willow looked ethereal.
Her dark hair draped over her shoulders and reached her waist, strands of hair gently moving as she swung. She was like a moving piece of artwork, dainty and priceless. According to the script, Nephelle was meant to swing over the full blooms in the garden until she noticed the armored Aither who had just returned from the battlefield.
Her face was supposed to light up with joy, and she would gently leap from the swing before landing softly in Aither’s arms.
Reveling in their reunion, they would wordlessly indulge in a passionate kiss that would set the world around them on fire.
After the kiss, Nephelle would look deep into Aither’s eyes and smile as she said, “Great Hero, if you would be so gracious, allow me to dance for you to celebrate your triumphant return.”
