Willow still felt incredibly weak after waking up and didn’t want to beat around the bush with Zayn.

She glanced wearily at the darkening night outside the window and spoke softly, “Zayn, if I told you that Skyler was the one who caused this, would you

believe me?”

The thought of Wilhelmina feeding her finger to a dog made Willow’s self–deprecation even more evident. “My finger was being fed to a dog, all thanks to Skyler!”

“willow, what does Skyler have to do with you losing your fingers?”

Zayn’s voice instantly turned cold, and the last shred of pity left in his eyes dissipated completely.

“Willow, Skyler has already suffered so much because of you, yet you still dare to frame her! Willow, if you dare to harm Skyler again in the future, I will make you suffer a thousandfold!” Zayn threatened.

Willow turned her face away, staring blankly at the lights outside.

She told the truth, yet he didn’t believe her. Why should she bother wasting her breath on him?
