Ryn's pov
I was seething as I walked outside of the gate in a rush. My dress bunches up as I got on the motorcycle and I instantly regret choosing to wear it. I sighed but started the motorcycle anyway and drove to Sauces pack.
As the wind brushed through my hair, images of Ace pops up into my head and I instantly bit my lips to ease the tingling I felt. Something I never felt when I had kissed anyone else.
I was confused at his actions, sure he admitted that he's sexually attracted to me and I admit I was waiting for him to kiss me. But what had brought the kiss on had utterly confused me and now it was giving me a slight migraine.
I was glad that he had broken the kiss sooner because I wasn't sure what I would've done if it lasted longer. He had somehow twisted his being into my own and now I was thinking about him when I shouldn't.
The sight of the restaurant had any thoughts of Ace to cease, at least for the while. I parked a little further away from the restaurant and decided to walk the minute it would take for me to enter.
My gut wrenched as I opened the door already expecting what I would witness. The last time I had come here was a year ago and now there are new employees. I slowly walked more into the restaurant as I surveyed around closely.
I noticed that not only had they employed new people but the work clothes were different. It now consisted of a black and blue plaid mini skirt with a white buttoned down dress shirt. What are they, in school?
The skirt barely covers the ass of the girls and I cringed when I realized that I had to wear the same thing. It was early and there were barely people around, only the employees who busied themselves in getting the place ready.
I walked up to the blonde girl who looked about in her late twenties. She was busy wiping the ketchup stain that was on the wooden table. I cleared my throat, gaining her attention.
"Yes, can I help you?" She asks kindly and beams at me. She seemed friendly and I wondered why she had chosen to work here especially under that asshole manager's commands. She straightens herself and waits for me to answer.
I returned her smile. "Hi, is the manager in? I'd like to have a word with him." I asked her looking around to see if I could spot the manager.
She claps and nods her head." Yes he's in, just go at the back, he's in his office." She informs me and points to a black wooden door. I thanked her and walked towards it.
I knocked once and opened the door not waiting for an answer. There the asshole sat, with his ankles on the desk and hands behind his head. As soon as I had entered his mouth had gone slack and he was now a stuttering mess.
I roll my eyes and close the door. He clears his throat and stands up. "Officer Waters at what do I owe the pleasure-" He started but I cut him off.
"Stop with the crap George, you and I both know you're not pleased to see me." I claimed and walked towards him until I was beside his desk and was before him.
"Then do tell officer, why have you come back here, have you gotten some dirt on me?" He asked. I could tell by the sweat on his forehead that I was intimidating him and I enjoyed it. Guess I didn't have to wear the dress after all.
I chuckled mockingly. "No George it's your lucky day, you'll not be arrested yet."
He audibly sighs in relief and looks at me confused. "So why are you here?"
I roll my eyes and walk around his desk until I was just at the back of him. I reach out my hand and grip the chair pulling it away from him. Sitting on it I looked up at him smirking.
