Ryn's pov

My jaw ticked in irritation as I pushed myself further on to Ace. He lets out a silent laugh knowing exactly how annoyed I was at the woman's blatant disrespect.

"No he is not, we came to visit a friend of ours, Leila Sharp, mind telling us were to go?" I grumbled, not sounding pleased to even speak to her.

It was like she had just noticed me as her eyes locked onto mine. She forced a smile and nodded. "Room 214 second floor to your right." She mumbles and shifts her eyes back to Ace. "If you have problems locating it, I'm always here to help." She says directing her words to him.

She pulls some of the gum out of her mouth and twirls it around her index finger. Her dark brown orbs stared at him under her thick fake lashes. And I cringed inwardly when the gum makes a mess on her finger. Did she call that seducing because she clearly looked like a damn fool.

"Let's go baby, Leila must be waiting for us." I said on purpose gripping Ace's hands and dragged him to the elevator.

"The elevator isn't working!" The receptionist yells out. I sighed, why am I not surprised?

I walked over to the stairs still holding onto Ace's hands tightly. He laughs as he keeps up with my strides. I give him a side look still mad at the way the woman had stared at him." What are you laughing at?"

He smirks. "Jealousy looks good on you."

I let out a huff and drop his hands as I stomped my way up the stairs. They creaked under my weight and something that smelt stale wafts through my nose. My nose twitches, not liking the smell. "I was not jealous, I was just mad she ignored me." I lied.

"Bellissima it's okay to admit that you don't want any other woman looking at me in that way. Besides you don't have to be jealous of other women, I only have eyes for you." He chuckles.

I smiled at his words but didn't respond. When we had finally gotten to the second floor all we smelt was weed and stale air, not a good combination. "How can anyone live here?" I whispered trying desperately to not inhale too much.

Ace shrugs and starts walking down the hall looking for room 214. He shouts me over when he finds it and waits for me to reach beside him. When I did I looked at the door that looked ready to fall off its hinges.

I reached out to knock on the door before Ace raises his brow and goes to bang on it. The door looked ready to collapse as Ace continues to bang harshly. "Ace are you trying to destroy the door?" I hissed and remove his hands away.

He was about to answer when the sound of someone stumbling could be heard on the other side of the door. The door quickly opens to reveal a young woman whose blonde hair was disheveled. The red lipstick she had worn was now smudge on her face.

She rests her body on the door and folds her arms, the huge shirt she only wore rides up in the process. She takes a long drag of the cigarette she held in her hand scrutinizing us. "I don't work on weekends, but if you want a go I'd be happy to give you." She says, aiming her words to Ace.

"What are you on about?" Ace asked confused.

She sighs and takes another drag. "Didn't you come here for sex?"

Ace stumbles away at her words and looked disgusted. "Hell no woman! we came here to speak to you on something important."
