NINE

H A R R Y

A knock came by the door.

"Come in." I say while my eyes were glued on the papers that I was busy signing.

The door opens, and here comes my secretary, Maria, who's been getting hates from my girlfriend and fiancée Audrey Chamberlain. Audrey doesn't really like her to be around here in my office because of one thing, she thinks Maria is flirting with me. She's afraid I might bend her over my desk and have sex with her while she's away from me but I wouldn't do that. Audrey worries too much about the women around me. She keeps whining about me firing Maria but I don't really see why I should. She's great at her job and she's very quick and attentive.

"Yes Maria?" I asked.

"These are the papers you asked for a while ago Mr. Styles." She placed the folders in front of me.

"Thanks."

She stands before me and doesn't seem to go. "You can leave now. It's already 6PM. Or are you on overtime?" I say.

She shakes her head. "There's one more thing I should tell you before I leave."

"Oh don't tell me the new artist has cancelled on the last minute?"

"No sir. It's not about that. Everything is already set for them."

I nod, "Good." I grabbed the files that were before me and signed it.

"I received a text yesterday." She says.

"A text from who?" I glued my eyes on the laptop as I continue on typing my presentation.

"Someone named Miranda."

I quickly stopped typing and pulled my head up to Maria.

"Repeat that again?" I asked.

"Miranda." She repeats the name.

I pressed my lips together. "Write down her number for me." I commanded, moving my head back to my laptop.

"Right away sir." She says.

Maria left my office and I was left with tons of paperworks.

Aside from the music industry, I have been really busy working with my Styles Enterprises which composes of eco-manufacturing, communication technologies and exporting goods from all over the globe. I have been expanding my wealth and putting it to good use to help people those who are in need.

Other than the charity works and medical missions, I have been helping on the next generation of farming solutions too, with soil science, advanced crop rotations and bioengineering solutions that has increased in West Africa, parts of North and South America and in Asia by 42.2% in farming yield each year. It's been a great achievement for me.

Maria steps inside my office and handed me Miranda's number.

"Thank you." I tell her. "You can go home now Maria."

"Take care Mr. Styles. Have a good night and don't stay up too late." She marched her heels out from my office and closed the door behind her.

I quickly grabbed my phone and placed in Miranda's number on my directory.

I haven't seen her for a week now but I still remember how she looked when she was inside my mom's hospital room. I won't deny it but she got me. She was so damn pretty that I couldn't find anything to say to her. There was something in her when I saw her. Her face seemed so familiar and I don't really remember people's faces but I know I've seen her before, I just forgot when and where.

Her beauty was effortless. Her blond hair was perfect but I think she was an original brunette cos of her roots growing. But to be honest, I think I stared at her longer than I know O shouldn't.

But she has a boy. She has a son and she's living with someone else. She's living with a man who her son calls uncle Arthur.

But are they even together?

Still I don't think it's wrong that she is a single mom cos I salute single mothers out there. But I guess I was just expecting she's still single and that she wasn't a mother yet. She doesn't look like she has a baby because her figure says the opposite thing of having a baby.

She looks sexy though.

Me: Hi Miranda. It's me Harry.

I waited for her reply while I opened my drawer to grab my iPhone charger. As I take it out, I see that golden necklace again that has been with me for years. I kept it with me. I take it to my hand and stared at it. The name "Rose" was written in cursive and it stand as the pendant of this simple necklace.

I don't know who owns this but I found it at my hotel room in L.A and I assume this belonged to the girl who I had a one night stand with roughly seven or more years ago. I've never forgotten how she looked and how her beautiful brown hair smelled like strawberry but I'm sure as hell her name was Rose. Hence the necklace.

I'm actually hoping on seeing her again. I tried to look for her but I can't find her. No traces of her. If I'd ever see her again, I would asked so many thing. I want to ask her why she left me that morning. I want to ask her how she has been after what happened. I want to ask her if she was alright. I want to ask her if I hurt her cos I obviously took her virginity. I haven't fucked a virgin before, and she was the first one. I still feel sorry for making her bleed that much.

I remember every detail that night. I remember her beautiful brown hair and her pretty face. I remember how sexy she was on that tube dress. I remember how she quickly got my attention when I got inside that bar. She was the first woman who caught my attention that night. She was dancing with her two other friends.

I remember how I asked my bodyguard to walk her up to the VIP floor so I could get to know her better. I remember how drunk she was and how we had great sex that night. It was the best sex yet of my life, I swear to the heavens. She was so tight around me. Yet that night, we were both so wild and so intense. I felt the chemistry when we did it. I never felt that when I always have sex with Audrey. But me and Rose were burning that night.

And I truly miss having that kind of amazing steamy sex.
