NINETEEN

H A R R Y

I stare at Miranda, sleeping soundly beside Ben. She's slightly snoring and I've never heard a woman snore aside from my mom. Audrey doesn't snore when she sleeps and Miranda snoring was kind of sexy to me, which I know was weird. But if I only had a family of my own, I would want it to be them. I want a Miranda as a wife and a Ben as a son.

As I take a good look at her, she slightly reminds me of Rose. I don't know why but they look the same, though the hair is the only different thing. I watched Rose as she slept inside my hotel room before and Miranda helps remind me of her. I know it's crazy to be thinking of a woman I had a one night stand with seven years ago, but Rose never got out of my head. And every time I'm with Miranda, Rose is relived in my mind.

All these years I have always been busy with work. I was always tired and I had no more time on having fun. Of course I'm getting old and I need money so I can support my future kids and grandkids. Even though I have a beautiful girlfriend, we never did something fun such as what Miranda, Ben and I did. All the things Audrey and I did were five-star restaurant or hotel dates, work, fly from one country to another, make love and more of work. She's busy and I'm busy. I don't know how the hell we stayed long.

To be honest, I have never enjoyed much unlike last night. It was the best of all, we didn't spend much money to have fun. We didn't need some fancy foods or go to some fancy place or wear some fancy outfits like I always do with Audrey. Last night was pure bliss and fun.

Even though she ruined my mood last night for calling in just to say how sorry she was about the news and hang up on me right away cos her fashion show was already starting, I still enjoyed the rest of my night with Ben and Miranda. They took all my stress and my anger away from me in a blink of an eye.

I popped my head out of the small opening and glare out of the balcony. The sun is up and it was a beautiful Sunday morning. Even though my back was aching, I couldn't careless about it. Last night was something I would want to do again but still with them.

I turned off the flashlights then carefully take out the trays of mugs and platters from last night. I called in for room service to come pick it up.

Once the room service came buzzing , I quickly told her to come in quietly cos some people were still sleeping. Her widened eyes darted at the huge tent the three of us made last night.

"Is that a.." She trails.

"Some are still sleeping inside the tent. So it's best if you remain quiet as possible." I tell her.

She looks at me and I don't know if they don't allow this in their hotel but I don't really care. She was giving me an eye of what was inside my penthouse while she takes the tray off the table. I just take a sip from my coffee and didn't really care about her.

"Have a good morning Mr. Styles." She says to me still gazing at the tent.

"Thanks. You too." I say as I close the door for her.

I hear a yawn coming from behind me and it was Miranda who walked out of the tent. I went near her, "Had a good sleep?"

She smiles, "Yeah. I think the hot chocolate milk drink was a killer. It gave me a very good sleep."

I smiled at her.

Damn she's still pretty.

"What time is it?" She asks while yawning.

"Eight." I take a sip from my cup.

She gasp. "Eight?" She gazes at the watch. "Holy pickles Im late for work."

My brows creasing, "You work on a Sunday?"

"Yeah. It sucks I know. My boss will kill me." She curses.

"Don't worry. I'll drive you there and explain to your boss. You can take a shower there." I pointed.

She begins to walk to where I directed her. She quickly stops and looks back at me. "Harry. We've got a problem."

I paused from drinking my coffee. "What's that problem?"

"I don't have anything to wear with me if I take a shower." She says shyly.

Damn right.

"I'll call in for someone to buy you some clothes." I offered.

"No. That would be a burden for you. Do you have some shirts? Ordinary shirts?"

I nod, "I think I brought some with me."

She exhales. "You know what never mind. It's fine."

"You'd like to borrow one?" I offered.

She gazes at me, "Would that be okay with you? That would be embarrassing of me but I swear to return it. Washed."

I smiled at her.

"Of course you can borrow." I tell her.

"Follow me." I say.

I began searching through my closet and looked for a shirt that would fit her or at least won't look too loose on her. I handed her a few and she picked the one that was my most favorite.

"I think I'll be working today with no shower." She shyly says.

"No one would notice." I tell her.

"This is the most embarrassing thing that could've happened to me in front of you."

My brows creasing as my eyes narrows.

"You're embarrassed that you're going to work with no shower? Don't worry about it. I've been there, done that."

She looks at me surprised. "You went to work with no shower?"

I nod. "Some shows back in the day. Actually a few."

She slightly gaped, "No way?"

"Believe it or not, yes." I smile at her. And I wasn't really lying or trying to make her feel at ease. There were some days that I wouldn't take a bath because I'm in a hurry. "Now go change. I'll call you a cab."

I exited the room and let her have her time on changing to my shirt. I called the from desk to reserve a taxi cab for me. When Miranda was done changing, she exits my room and my shirt just fitted her perfectly. A bit too loose but she inserted the hems of the shirt behind her button and it looked really good to her.

"My shirt looks good you." I involuntarily said.

She looks at herself and cursed myself for commenting such way. "I mean it fits you. It isn't too loose." I corrected.

"Thank you very much Harry." She thanks me again.

"I told you to stop thanking me." I smile.

"You can't stop me from thanking you. You always do things that surprises me and things that I should be thankful for." She grabs her bag.

"And I'll keep on telling you it's nothing. Your cab is already waiting for you outside. I'll take care of Ben. Don't worry."

"There you go again." She snaps. "Don't worry. I'll wake him up right now and bring him with me." She insists.

I walked near her to stop her from waking up Ben. I stand behind her back and I placed my hands over each of her shoulders. I began pushing her gently to the front door of my penthouse so she could go to work already.

"You're late and you'll be much much late if you'll wake Ben. So go. I'll handle him." I persuaded her.
