"You're here." I cupped his cheeks.
I actually cannot believe it that he's here. I cannot believe it that he came here but how? When? He told me he was in England. He told me he was busy with his job.
He smiles at me. "I am."
"But... B-but you're in London... You told me--"
"I lied." He says while grinning.
I gaped. "What?"
He keeps smiling at me and kissed my cheek. "I lied to you. I set you up. I was with you and Ben the entire time. In the plane, when you got here, while you were sexily strutting your stuff around the resort. I was just around. Behind you."
I smacked his arm, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I wanted to surprise you." He answers.
My smile starts to appear on my face.
"If I told you I was coming with you then I wouldn't have enough time to prepare everything for tonight." He grins at me.
My lips stretches across my face. "Did I ever tell you I was so mad at you today?" I asked as I arched an eyebrow at him.
"I know." He admits.
He looked sorry though and it's pretty damn cute that he's doing it.
"I've seen your face the entire time, you kept glancing at your phone. You were waiting for me to reply or call. I hope I didn't make you that mad. And I'm sorry." He cups my cheeks and kissed my forehead.
He pulls out the chair and made me sit down. He sits right across me and I was so happy to see him here with me right now. He looks so handsome. He looks so gorgeous wearing that black blazer, a black shirt, a pair of black tight jeans and his white Nike sneakers. His hair was gelled and pushed back as always and he shaved. He goddamn shaved. I love it when he's freshly shaved.
"You shaved." I tell him.
He grins. "Is it a good thing or bad?"
I smiled, "Either."
His brows creasing.
"You look good on both. You just look hotter with your beard on." I said.
"You just love it when I have my facial beard on huh?" He teases.
I know where this is going and his cheeky grin is appears on his face.
"Yes. But clean cut is better too." I answered.
"But I'm still a bit pissed at you though. You almost gave me a heart attack when a man came into my hotel room." I begin to say.
"I'm sorry. That was all part of the plan." He begins to say.
"What plan?" I asked.
"This." He widens his arms.
I smiled at him.
"I didn't answer your text a lot. I became a freaky stalker of you for half a day while you were walking around the resort and while we were in the plane cos I wanted to prepare for this." He says to me.
I smile.
The waiter began serving the foods.
"I thought you really chose work over me." I tell him.
He shakes his head, "That won't happen love. You're always my first on the list."
I can't help but kept smiling.
"I know how important and special this day is to you and it's as important to me too." He adds.
I bite my lower lip and hid my smile. Louis' actions keeps on reminding me that he's worth to keep. He is pretty damn serious with me and he's been ignoring what happened weeks ago. He is staying strong for this relationship to work out and it still is. I still want to be with him after what happened cos I love him very much.
"So." I snapped.
"You were the one who closed the entire beach for the day cos of this?" I asked him.
He nods. "I needed to prepare for this dinner date and everything has to be perfect so you will love it."
"Love, you don't have to pretend as a rich fat man. You don't have to put so much for me kay like this one. You don't have to close an entire beach just for me." I tell him.
He holds my hand, "But I wanted to make you feel special. This day is special for us. I wanted to do this cos I want you to be happy. I want you to feel how much I love you."
"I felt it since the day I met you and I always feel it every single day that we're together Louis." I smile.
He smiles before kissing the back of his hand. "I just wanted to make you feel special on this day." He says.
I smile at him.
"And I have to thank Vivian too." He grins at me.
I gaped. "Vivian knows?"
He nods.
"I can't believe she didn't tell me." I tell myself.
Louis chuckles softly. "Then that won't be a surprise anymore if she did. And I'm glad she didn't."
I smiled.
When the dishes were all served and the champagne was placed next to us, Louis thanked the waiter for everything and then we began to eat peacefully. The entire beach was brightened with lights and I don't know where these lights are coming from but it sure made the beach light up. There were three people who had violins with them and began playing some beautiful sonatas for us.
Nobody ever did this to me before and it was the most heartwarming surprise I've ever received.
"Did you cook these meals?" I smirked.
He glares at me. "My cookings are a lot better than these ones, love."
I nod in agreement with cheeky grin and made him smile again. "Okay. Okay. So mine isn't as good." He says.
I chuckle. "But I still love you even though you don't know how to. At least you try."
He grins.
We continued eating and at the same time we talked about how it felt like to become a stalker. His day went pretty great and he said he had fun sneaking around me. He told me he was sorry a couple of times for what he has done but I understood why he did such a thing. He only did this to surprise me and I was really really surprised.
After we ate our dinner, the waiter began serving the desserts and it's always my favorite part of the meal. Time after time I knew there were other people taking sneaky photographs of us from afar and I know Louis noticed it too but we ignored these people. Maybe they were also guests from this resort.
"I didn't know you were that fat old rich man who closed the entire beach all to himself huh?" I smirked.
He nods.
"How greedy." I added.
He chuckles. "The resort's management told me a lot of people wanted to take a swim on the beach and I had to pay for closing it during the day."
"You paid? How much?" I gaped.
"No need to ask for that." He grins.
"Oh Louis." I sigh.
I glance at him.
"You don't have to spend too much money on me. This dinner date. This dress. This vacation. The plane. The--"
"I want to spend my wealth on you because you deserve it." He cuts me off and smiles.
I sigh inwardly. I don't.
"I want to make you feel the happiest woman while you're with me." He adds.
"I am already the happiest and luckiest." I tell him.
"My mum once told me, when you watch sunrise together with someone you love on a special day, you'll end up together." Louis tells me.
I moved my head up to him.
"And I hope it's true." He adds while he travels his eyes down at me.
I smiled.
"Sun's up." He points.
As we watch the sunrise together, I noticed that we were both really quiet. We watched the amazingly beautiful sunrise seriously and I was hoping what Louis said is true. I would want to end up with him and that's not even a lie. I do want my future spent with Louis even though a part of me also wants to be with Harry.
"Let's play a game." Louis stands as he pulls me.
"What game? This early?" I chuckle.
He nods.
"It's also an exercise for you so get your lazy bum up." He tells me.
"My bum isn't lazy." I say.
He chuckles. "It is. But I love your bum." He winks.
I playfully smack his arm and he chuckles at me. "So how do you play it?" I ask him.
"It's called Shell Competition." He answers.
My brows creasing.
"We need to pick out shells and whoever picked the best shell in five minutes, wins." He explains.
I nod. "It's a seashell hunt?"
He nods at me. "Shall we give it a go?"
"Don't make it easy for me. I know you love me but be competitive on this." I say.
"Ohh, feisty. I love it. And I will be competitive. But time's running love!" Louis begins to search.
"Louis! No fair!" I chased him and began to hunt some shells too.
I was busy looking for shells and he was also busy looking for shells too. We were a bit far from each other and we were totally busy. There were also other people walking around the shore who were looking at us. I think they thought we were being funny and playful but I was more focused on winning this little competition even though there's no prize for the winner.
I noticed that Louis goes a little ways down the beach far off from where I was and he's taking this pretty seriously too. I'm still looking for the best shell to beat him, I don't wanna lose. I already had a few shells on my hand but they weren't enough for me. They weren't the best yet. I just wish he won't find shells from where he is.
"Love!" I hear him yell.
I turned my attention to him.
"I found the winning shell!" He yells.
I felt a little beaten. Five minutes wasn't even over yet.
He runs towards me and I was anticipating for him to show me the most beautiful shell.
Right when he reaches me, Louis trips and gave me heart attack at the same time I laughed at him too but I was nervous that he would fall flat on the sand and hurt himself. His face when he was about to fall off, was insanely priceless and I couldn't help but sort of laugh at it.
"Oh my god Louis!" I tried to catch him.
But suddenly he gets on one knee and presented the winning shell.
I gasped as my hands quickly covered my mouth.
I wasn't expecting this.
He opened the shell and there was a diamond ring inside it. My tears began filling my eyes, I feel my lips trembling and I think I'm shaking too. I feel my heart pounding hard on my chest and I didn't think he would actually do this right here. I didn't think he'd even ask me to marry him after what I did.
Louis smiles while his head is looking up to me.
"Will you be my wife?" He popped the question.
