"I missed you, my fiance." Mandy cooed and it was as if someone prowled a sword right in Chloe's heart.

For a second she wanted to believe that she heard it wrong but the way Mandy clinged to Andrew said everything clearly.

Her eyes met his dark brown hues that were already set on her. Andrew smirked wickedly and then he wrapped his arm around her waist in a possessive grip.

"I missed you too." He said in a soft voice that clawed at her insides. Chloe was standing frozen on her spot.

The simple process of breathing became difficult and her heart constricted painfully inside her chest. How could he do this? How could he get engaged when she was already his wife?

Then all of a sudden, reality hit her like a brutal slap right across her face. Divorce. This was the reason he wanted divorce.

"Honey, Who is she?" Mandy asked in a slurry voice as if she was high on drugs and that drug was Andrew.

Chloe didn't realise but she was glaring daggers at Mandy but what Andrew said hurt her to no end.

"She is Chase's nanny." Andrew said casually and Mandy nodded her head and then her eyes lit up in excitement.

"Can I meet my soon to be son? Pretty please." Mandy said while batting her fake lashes like a stupid woman.

"You can not meet him." Chloe said calmly but her voice came out rather sharp which got her a reaction from him as he cocked his brow at her, daring her to create a scene.

"And why is that?" Mandy asked with annoyance.

The dare of this woman to call Chase her soon to be son, like his mother was dead. Bloody hell. If she even dared to think about taking Chase away from her Chloe was going to kill her.

"Because it's time for his piano lessons." Chloe said calmly and she literally pinned Andrew with a glare which simply meant if you dare to deny my lie, I'm going to kill her and luckily he said nothing at this matter which caused her to relax a little.

"I see. Let him have his lesson. I'll meet him some other time but right now my fiance needs my undivided attention." Mandy muse and wrapped her long arms around Andrew's neck.

She was expecting him to push her arms away but she didn't expect that he would wrap his arms around her waist and nuzzle his face in her neck.
