Lowering her head she walked out of the study but stopped when she met with the frowning Susie who was holding a wooden tray in her hand that was filled with food.

"Stay here. I'll be back in a minute." Susie said to Chloe before she heard a come in and walked inside. Not a second later Susie was out again but the tray of food was still in her hands.

"He said he's not hungry." Susie said with a shrug of her shoulders but Chloe knew she was the reason for his not so hungry mood.

They walked down the stairs towards the kitchen and all the while they were quiet but Susie spoke up as soon as she placed the tray on the slab.

"What were you doing in there?" Susie inquired and Chloe's brows creased at her question, she felt offended that Susie was asking why she was in her husband's study but then she recalled Susie didn't know that.

"He called me." Chloe replied shortly. The way Susie was staring at Chloe's face was totally making her uncomfortable.

"What?" Chloe asked with a raised brow.

"Why are your lips so swollen and red as if someone kissed the hell out of you?" Susie said animatedly while pouting her own lips making Chloe's eyes go wide as she gaped at her while palming her mouth after a soft gasp.

"Don't act okay. I've a boyfriend and I know the after effects on lips after a raw kissing." Susie said as a matter of fact and Chloe was rendered speechless, she didn't know what to say.

"I...I uh. I was nervous and was biting my lips continuously... I don't know where you are taking all this." Chloe said with a frown in the end only to make Susie drop this topic.

"Oh... um I'm sorry." She blurted out with an embarrassing giggle and Chloe just nodded her head.

"Would you like some ice cream?" Susie asked digging inside the fridge and Chloe's stomach knotted up. "I dont think I'm allowed to eat that." She said softly, making Susie snort. "Who's watching?" Susie turned and winked at her mischievously before digging back in search of an icecream which she hid somewhere in the fridge.

Chloe didn't know why but a thought struck her and her eyes hurriedly gazed around the kitchen specifically near the ceiling and just as she predicted. There it was a camera. Maybe Andrew was watching her which she was sure of. So why not give him a show.

Susie took out an ice cream plastic container and she scooped out a few spoons and filled two bowls with it before she gave one to Chloe as they sat down on the barstool.

Chloe, being completely pissed at Andrew for even thinking about divorce started devouring her ice cream while muttering how nice it was and no one will find out she ate it.
