He flashes her a grin. "No problem."

"Want to sit with us outside?" I ask.

"Yeah, let's do it." We all walk outside and luckily there was an empty table. We all take

a seat and Owen's knee bumps into mine. "Sorry." He mumbles. He's the same height as Ian and looks funny in the tiny black chair. The poor guy barely has any leg room.

"That's okay." I take a sip of my frap. Delicious, definitely worth the wait but I'm glad we didn't have to wait our turn in order to get it.

"You going to our party Friday?" Owen asks me.

"I am." Jess says.

"I don't know, I might go." It would depend if Ian wants to go or not. I'd rather just sit at Ian's house and spend time with him. I've never really liked parties.

"I hope you do. You owe me another dance."

I laugh. "Yeah, sorry about that. I had a little too much to drink that night." I wince.

"Hey, I'm not complaining." He says before taking a drink.

Jess meets my gaze and mouths 'he's so hot'.

I nod at her then to him I say, "I'm never drinking and dancing again." Even though I hadn't even drank anything at the time I danced with him but he doesn't know that. Wait, yeah, he does, I had told him I wasn't drinking that night. Hopefully he doesn't remember that. "I've sworn off dancing for good."

"I hate to hear that. You're a pretty good dancer." He flashes me a lopsided smile.

"Thank you I think."

"No, really you are."

Jess looks at something above my head. "Oh great now he's stalking me." She murmurs.

"Who?" I didn't have to wait long to find out.

Nick comes up and puts his hand on my chair. "Hey, Kamdyn, Jess."

"Hey, Nick." I say. I turn and see Aaron coming up next to him. Nick has the same goofy

grin on his face he always does but Aaron isn't even cracking a smile he just nods at me.

Jess takes a long gulp of her drink. "You coming over tonight?" Nick asks me.

"Probably."

"Ian wants to watch that movie with you you've been wanting to see and I've been ordered to keep my clothes on." He gives me a wink. "Sorry, I'll give you a private show later."

My face is hot with embarrassment and Owen looks at me with wide eyes. "You're hilarious, Nick." I say so Owen knows he's only joking.

Nick just grins. I don't know why Jess is fighting it so hard, Nick is sexy, dark hair, brown eyes and a well muscled body, he's funny and easy to be around, if I wasn't so in love with Ian I'd go for it. "You know you like it."

"Jacobs, you think you and your boys are actually going to win a game next season?" Aaron asks. I don't follow football, I don't really follow any sport, but our football team did win a few games last year. They're always getting crap for how bad they are especially by other athletes, our baseball team is good though. They win almost every game which makes Ian that

much more cocky.

Owen shrugs. "Maybe, think you'll actually hit a homerun sometime this season?"

"I get a homerun almost every day." He tells Owen. "I'm always getting a homerun. Maybe if you and your boys played better you'd get a homerun too."

Okay, clearly Aaron doesn't like Owen. Owen doesn't look affected by Aaron's criticism though, he just grins at him. "Yeah, I'll keep that in mind, Man."

"You do that." Aaron says glaring at him. "See you tonight, Kamdyn." Then Aaron starts walking off.

"Bye, Kamdyn, see you tonight." Nick says. "Jacobs." He nods then he gives Jess an air kiss before he walks off.

"Sorry about that." I tell Owen, a little embarrassed by how Aaron acted.

He shrugs. "It's okay. I'm used to it."

"You guys aren't that bad." I tell him.

Me:

Ian: I'll see you tonight. Pizza okay?

Me: Pizza is great.

I look up to see Jess grinning at me.

"What?"

"You're so in love with him. Your entire face lights up."

"How do you even know I'm talking to Ian?"

"Because it's all over your face, even when he texts you your face lights up. He's an idiot for not even noticing it."

"Am I that obvious?"

"Yes!" She says without hesitation.

"Gee thanks."

"I don't see how he hasn't noticed but then guys are clueless."

"Hopefully I'm not as noticeable as you say I am. I don't want anyone else knowing, not unless Ian feels the same way then I don't care who knows."

*****

Ian and I are sitting on the sofa, now they're only down to one sofa and a recliner since they had to throw the other one out. Ian has been acting a little weird and I'm not really sure what is going on with him. He's been more quiet than usual and acting distant he's barely even touched me since I got here two hours ago. Nick is talking our heads off like usual while we watch the movie. I want to ask Ian what's wrong but I know he won't answer me while Nick is around, so I don't bother.

After the movie ends Nick choses an action movie for us to watch. "Nothing makes me harder than a good action movie." Nick jokes before sitting back down. "Well except for Jess." He looks over at me. "You should text her to come over."

"I would but I know she won't. She told me earlier she has plans."
