"Yeah well he left early." She glares at me. "I'm never coming back to this house again so don't even ask me. I'm not sleeping with him ever again."
Just then Nick comes up completely naked, smacks Jess's butt, gives me a wink and goes into the bathroom.
"Never again." She says to me before walking toward the stairs.
I laugh. "So I guess Ian can give me a ride home later then." I call after her.
She flips me off making me laugh that much harder. I knock on the bathroom door. "Nick, hurry up I gotta pee."
Ian comes up behind me and slides his arms around my waist. "What's taking so long?" He nuzzles my neck.
"Nick is in there." I tell him.
Nick comes out of the bathroom whistling. "It's all yours, beautiful."
"Dude, put some clothes on." Ian says.
Nick just winks before walking back to his room. Ian shakes his head. I go into the bathroom and Ian is behind me. I put my hand on his chest stopping him. "What do you think you're doing?"
"I'm going to the bathroom with you." He says as though it's obvious.
"No, you're not. I'm peeing, you're not coming in here." I shut the door in his face and head over to the toilet, the seat is up and Nick didn't even bother flushing. I shake my head. Guys.
When I come out Ian is standing on the other side of the door looking beyond sexy in nothing but a pair of grey briefs. "Feel better?" He asks.
"Yep."
"Good." He swoops me up and throws me over his shoulder making me scream before he takes me back into his bedroom. He lays me on his bed and stands back and looks at me. I feel a blush coming to life on my cheeks. He clearly likes what he sees. "From now on when you're over here you're wearing my jersey and nothing else. I've never seen a jersey look so good." He gives me one last slow look before leaning over and kissing me. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him back, I would agree to anything at this point.
Jess is still in a bad mood later that day. For someone who had amazing sex last night you would think she would be in a better mood, I couldn't stop smiling even with my best friend being a grouch. We decided to get coffee after our last class, coffee always has a way to cheer her up. "So what's with the mood?" I ask while we're standing in line.
"What do you mean?" She's looking at her phone, a scowl on her face.
"You're grumpy."
"Why is this line so long?" She complains. "Hurry up, people! I have better things to do!" A few people turn around and look at her before turning back around.
"See?" I say fighting back a smile.
"Nothing, I just want some coffee. Is this line even moving? I swear we've been standing here for thirty minutes."
More like ten but okay. "Okay, spill."
"It's nothing." She says avoiding my eyes, she keeps her eyes on her phone. "I woke up this morning in Nick's bed and he...." She mumbles something I can't understand.
"And he what?"
"He had his arm around me!" She screams out. Then she closes her eyes mortified. "He was.....cuddling me and I didn't even know it."
"That's what's got you so grumpy? So what? Ian and I cuddle all the time."
"Yeah, but that's different. You guys are practically a couple. Nick is just a booty call to me. Then I crawled out of bed to sneak out and he asks me to....hang out."
She says hang out like it's the worst thing in the world. I think it's sweet Nick wants to hang out with her. "Aww that's sweet."
I look around the crowd of people and Owen is the third in line. "It is Owen."
"Owen! Hey, Owen!" She screams out.
"Shhh." I grab her arm. "Crazy."
"What?"
He turns around to see who's yelling his name like a maniac. His eyes land on me and his face breaks out into a wide smile. He waves and I give a little wave back. "What are you drinking?" He yells to us.
I look at Jess and she grins at me. "Caramel Frappuccino and a Vanilla!" I yell to him.
He nods and turns back around. It's his turn now and he orders.
"How cool is that? No more line." Jess says as we step out of line.
Owen steps aside after his order and we go up to get our drinks. "Thanks." I tell him. I hand him some money to cover our drinks, but he shakes his head.
"My treat." He tells me.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, you can get me next time."
I put my money back in my purse and he hands me my drink off the counter before handing Jess hers. She sniffs it and moans. "You're the best, Owen, I think I love you."
