He's silent for a moment as if he doesn't really know what to say. "I don't want to stop."
"What?"
"I like hooking up with you." He grabs my hand and kisses it. "The way you look right now I want to throw you on that bed and show you just how much I love hooking up with you."
I gulp, and glance at the bed which makes him grin. "You can't talk to me like that anymore. We're strictly just friends now."
"But I can still think it right?" He asks stepping closer. I put my hand on his chest stopping him.
"No, you can't. I want us to get past this, I want to go back to the way it was before we slept together. You're one of my best friends."
"And you're one of my best friends, which is why I would never hurt you. You know that don't you? I swear to you, Kam, I didn't kiss that girl. You can even ask Nick, he was standing there with me and she just came up to me and started kissing me. I pushed her away but not until after you saw it. You think I don't do relationships but you're the only one I've slept with since the first night we had sex. You're different, Kam, and I'm not going to stop until I make you
believe me."
I wanted so badly to believe him, but I didn't. I know Ian and I've seen all the girls throw themselves at him. There's no way he would turn them down. "Let's just forget it all happened okay? I don't want to lose you as a friend."
He pulls me into a hug. "I'm not going anywhere." He slowly kisses my cheek and my entire body hums with pleasure. Then he trails kisses down my neck. I stop him when his lips touch my collarbone.
"Stop. We're just friends. You can't do that anymore. Okay?"
"Sorry, but this dress and your boobs are practically popping out...." He leans in and kisses my exposed cleavage, setting my entire body on fire.
I push his face away from my breasts. It takes all my strength to resist him when all I really want to do is have him rip this dress off me and throw me on the bed. "No, no, no, you can't say anything about my dress and you can't kiss me. Come on, Ian, I really want this to work."
"Okay, okay. Sorry." He grins, exposing the dimples on his cheeks and I nearly jump on him right there. Being his friend is going to be a lot harder than I thought.
"So are we good here?"
He nods. "We're good."
I force a grin. "Good. I'll see you around. Okay?" He nods and I walk out the door, I'm so shaky I can barely walk down the stairs, that was definitely one of the hardest things I've ever done. Resisting Ian is going to be extremely hard to do especially since I keep running into him the entire night. I would catch him watching me and he was always thinking of excuses to approach me, he even asked me if I wanted a drink twice.
Christie, Anna, and I were dancing, I have no idea where Jess disappeared to but I'm sure there is a hot guy involved, there usually is when Jess runs off.
"I will." I tell him. He gives me a hug and a light kiss on my temple before disappearing back into the crowd. I watch him leave, desperately wanting to run after him and tell him I've changed my mind and want to go back to his place.
"Wow, he practically just pissed all over you." Christie tells me.
"Nah, he's just looking out for me, being a good friend."
"No, Christie is right." Anna says. "He's definitely marking his territory."
"We need to find Jess, I've had enough of this dress for tonight." I say pulling it up again.
"You look hot." Christie tells me.
"Thanks, but I'm never wearing it again."
"Well, at least it got Ian's attention." Anna says.
