I grin. "Your secret is safe with me."
A few minutes later I heard his soft snoring and I roll over so my back is toward him and snuggle into him. Not only have I missed the amazing sex but I've also missed having him hold me. I close my eyes and am instantly asleep.
"I can't believe you spent the night with him you little slut." Jess teases me at our usual spot at the café.
"I know you had sex with him." Lexie says.
"No, I swear we only cuddled."
"Figures." Jess says.
"It was nice." I say before taking a drink of my Frappuccino.
It had been nice. The morning however was a little awkward, I woke up with Ian's massive hard on pressed against my rear and that was a true testament of strength. I've never wanted to have sex with him as badly as I wanted to at that moment but instead I unwrapped myself from his arms and crawled out of bed. He woke up and asked what time it was, I told him to go back to sleep then I woke up my friends so we could leave. I couldn't stay there much longer and not have sex with him, I didn't have that much control. I practically ran out the door, I couldn't get home fast enough.
"Nick and I didn't just cuddle." Lexie says with a huge grin on her face.
Jess's head snaps up. "What? You and Nick hooked up last night?"
"Yeah, his dick is huge. I mean huge." She's grinning from ear to ear and Jess looks pissed but the look is gone so quickly I think I could've imagined it.
"Hm...yeah he's okay." Jess says into her Frappuccino.
"Okay? He's the best sex I ever had." Lexie says.
"You say that about everyone." Jess points out.
"Well this time I mean it. I'm still sore." She says proudly.
Jess looks at me and rolls her eyes.
"Anyway I'd better get to class. I'll see you guys later." She says before practically
skipping off.
"Wow, she's in a good mood." I say.
"You didn't tell me she hooked up with Nick." Jess says accusingly.
"What? Is that a problem?" I ask her.
"No, but it would've been nice to know about it." She looked pissed off. Maybe she liked Nick more than she was letting on. Was she actually jealous? I've never seen my best friend jealous.
"Why? You said you weren't sleeping with him anymore."
"And I'm not, especially since he hooked up with her." She made a disgusted face and I had to hold back a laugh.
"Why do you care? You don't like him right?"
"I don't like him." Jess says before taking a drink. "So you and Ian really only cuddled
last night and nothing else?"
"Yes, he was the perfect gentleman."
"And all you wanted was for him to rip your clothes off and have his way with you." She said knowingly.
"Yes! That's horrible but I did. Honestly, I expected him to but he didn't. We really just slept. I told him I want to be strictly friends and now we are, but I want more, Jess. I want him completely, not just as a friend."
"I'm actually really surprised he didn't have sex with you." She grins. "Maybe I was right to begin with and he actually does care about you."
"Just not the way I care about him."
"Owen!" She yells out.
She yelled so loudly she made me nearly jump out of my seat. "Would you quit doing that!" I hiss.
Every time she sees Owen she yells out and waves him over. I know what she's doing, she's trying to get us together. Her innocent smile isn't fooling me, I know what she's up to and it's not going to work. I can't get into a relationship with anyone until I'm completely over Ian, and I don't think that is ever going to happen.
"What?" She asks innocently. "Give him a chance."
"Jess, Kamdyn." Owen sits down next to me. "I haven't seen you two in a while."
I seriously doubt that. "Sorry, I was just.....I don't know what I was."
"It's okay, I'm just glad you finally said yes. I put my number in your phone when Jess took you to the ER, text me and we'll figure something out."
"Will do." I say.
He stands up and disappears into the café. "Yes!" Jess says all excited. "I told you he was into you."
"Yeah. Yeah."
"He's so hot."
"He is pretty hot." I agree. And sweet, and charming, but there was only one big problem, he's not Ian.
Ian: Cancel them, come hang out with me.
Me: Maybe some other time.
Ian:
Ian: Guess I have to send a dick pic to remind you what you're missing.
Me: Friends don't send each other dick pics.
Ian: Well they should.
"Am I going to have to confiscate your phone?" Jess asks me. "I don't even have to ask who's texting you. What is wrong with you? You had this super-hot guy asking you out and you're sitting over there texting some guy who's never going to give you what you want. Owen has had a serious girlfriend, he will actually commit to you."
"Yeah, and he cheated on her." I sighed. "I don't know, Jess, I miss Ian."
"I know you do but you're never going to get over him if you keep hanging out with him."
"I don't want to lose him, If I can't have him as a boyfriend at least I can have him as a
friend."
