Rage fills me as I look at the pictures of the members of the C. Organization, and my eyes are stuck with the man wearing the creepy white mask. My hands automatically formed into fists, the man behind the death of my friend. I can’t wait for the day that I’ll crush him with my own bare hands until he begs me to stop. But I will show no mercy.

“C. Organization never showed up in public except when they kidnap your friend, Kendra. I don’t have an idea why they did that, it’s too risky for them, especially the cops weren’t aware of their existence, maybe they want to get your attention on them. And that’s made me more curious why they would jeopardize and tell the whole world of their existence just because of a woman next to me.”

I gulped when he gave me a short glance, somewhat an interrogating look. But even I was in a huge puzzle as well.

“According to my men they were the ones behind the killings of the women in the country, I have a team in charge of them, they were under investigation since last year. But the investigation only proves that the C. Organization leader is an influential person, we can’t gather enough evidence to catch them in the act. They think ahead of us, they plan their killings well, they never leave any traces of evidence. And I can feel that they have a huge connection with the government here in your country. I don’t want to stick my nose into their business but I discovered that they have a huge grudge against me, they purposely let people think those killings were my doing, when in fact I didn’t do anything. They kept on killing women as I will take all the blame.” He chuckled for a moment and sip on his wine.

“I’m surprised that one day an article states that I am probably behind those killings, as I hate women to the core.” He continued.

“But I will never do that.”

“You sure you don’t kill people?” I asked back.

“I never said that. But I haven’t killed a woman, because you’re the weakest and the most vulnerable human beings, same as the wicked ones.”

I completely ignore his insult to us. There’s no use to start a fight with him. Though his words sent shivers to me when in fact I should be thankful, as he won’t do anything bad to me right? But that doesn’t mean I trust him. I don’t want to regret why I went with him. But one question pops into my mind, why does he hate women badly? And why am I an exception? I wanted to blurt it out but it feels like this isn’t the right time to do that.

“But you kill people,” I uttered instead. It’s not a question from me.

He stands up and walks towards the railing of the yacht as he watches the sunsets.

At that angle, I was able to inspect his whole, as the sun strikes his face it enhances his features more. From the tip of his nose down to kissable lips, he screams perfection. His dark green eyes mirror the reflection of the sun and ocean, too hypnotizing to stare at but no emotion can be read.

“Killing is a part of my life, in our world Jada only the strong and brave can live.” Taken aback when he speaks. My forehead automatically creased.

“What do you mean?”

“You won’t understand for now.”

I nodded and didn’t speak for a moment. I completely understand it, there’s no logic needed for me not to realize that he’s one of them, a billionaire mafia who hates women to the core, Kendra, and Trinity were right. Aside from those killings, he's telling the truth, I can tell.
