Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties novel Chapter 169

Read Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties The old girls... - the best manga of 2020

Of the Zuxian stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to The old girls.... Let's read the author's Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties Zuxian story right here.

Evelyn pushed the door to the girls' open. She walked to one of the couches and dropped into it facedown, bawling her eyes out. She started quietly, slowly sniffling and holding it back in. But suddenly, she lost the will to hold it in and let it all out. Crying so loudly. So loudly that the girls couldn't ignore.

"Evelyn what's wrong?"

Mira was the first to pay attention. She walked to her. She tried to roll her over but Evelyn would not.

"Girls..."

Mira called and one after the other the girls started coming out. Some had towels on, some earbuds, some eating snacks.

They were getting back in shapes. Their faces getting fresher, their skins clearer. The atmosphere of the environment as well as the conditioned well treated air in the apartment wss doing wonders. Defining their skin tones.

They looked less stressed also. Only if they knew who was responsible for their wellbeing. Only if they knew who was paying for all their expenses. Only if they!

"What's this about?"

Tendzel spoke indifferently amidst munching. But when the girls noticed that Evelyn would not allow Mira or those who tried to turn her over, they stopped all they were doing.

They went all serious, wearing the faces tamed by empathy. It was quite a luxury which didn't come all the time.

"Baby, what's the matter. What's happening to you?"

That was Tendzel calling at her. Well the other girls were surprised to see the change; but that didn't look like something unusual. Plus that wasn't the time to worry about something like that. For all they knew, one of them was bawling her eyes out and they couldn't do anything about it. They didn't even know what the problem was yet.

"Evelyn baby, why are you crying?"

"You shouldn't be crying... we should be happy. We don't have to worry about anything anymore. We don't have to be scared. We are no longer in a danger zone."

Claire was seated by the arm of the couch, stroking Evelyn's hair. Suddenly, Evelyn pushed up her body of her own accord, turning to Claire.

"Claire..."

She hugged Claire warmly and passionately. Claire who was not expecting it made a weird expression. But when she got glares from the likes of Tendzel and Lisa, she resumed the charade.

She resumed stroking the poor girl's hair.

"There baby... there... stop crying..."

She would pat her occasionally too. And as though there was magic in her acts, the noise stopped and then the tears.

All they could do now was wait for Evelyn to pull away from Claire. They couldn't wait to know what the problem was.

Evelyn pulled away finally. But when she did, she stood up at once. She sniffled. Looking from one girl to the other. Her eyes were red and her face falling apart. Eyelids swelling up.

"I'm going to my room."

She moved but Lisa stepped in her way, then Laurette, then Allison, then Ayisha.

From the looks of things, none of the girls would let Evelyn go until she had told them what the matter was. Evelyn didn't need to be told.

"Why are you standing in my way?"

Evelyn couldn't keep her gaze on one of the girls. She was struggling to get all of them in her gaze so they could take note of the facial expression that inspired her words.

"You are not a cry baby, Evelyn. And sorry if any of us has referred to you as one."

"I'm sorry that I call you that often. Forgive me."

Tendzel apologised.

"Me too."

Claire took her turn and so did the rest who were found culprits. Evelyn observed their facial expressions. She noticed that they were all genuine. They really meant their words. She could tell.

Yet she shook her head. She pursed her lips then heaved a sigh.

"It's not use. You won't believe me if I say it."

She took a quick pause. She continued,

"I'm the illogical one who doesn't know better but to live in a fantasy."

Claire walked towards her,

"Aww... that's not true Evelyn. Let's not hold unto the past. Things are different now."

She was trying to hold Evelyn's arms but the latter didn't think that was a good idea.

"I have been meaning to say too."

Laurette raised her voice and all attention went to her.

"But first, let's have a seat."

Laurette walked to take a seat herself. Of course she knew how the girls were. When they noticed that she was seated, one after the other they walked to take a seat each.

Realising that Evelyn would remain standing where she was, Claire walked to her and forced her to take a seat.

"It's a known fact but it's not agreed yet. Which makes it useless."

Laurette continued. There was no lie, none of the girls had an idea what she was talking about. It wss just a matter of time before they catch on the fact.

"None of us is willing to accept and agree that the island changed us and brought out the worst in us."
