Key: Daddy Chapter 22
Daddy and I went back to the city. He said it was urgent, so urgent that we didn't even said goodbye to the people in there.
I thought at first that it was one of his surprises to me. But daddy was being all too serious. Maybe it was his business. I'm worried and he wouldn't tell me.
I sucked. We were once again at a luxury hotel in Malaysia. He was laboriously doing a lot of paper works. I cried because he didn't pay attention to me. It was so unusual for him to do that.
Earlier, he had a conversation on his cell phone. Who is that?
"Dad,"
"Daddy," I called him again. Wala parin.
Pumunta sya sa kitchen. He chuckled at his phone. "Yes. I have been waiting for your offer Tessie. Let us meet one of this day."
"Daddy?" still nothing.
Fine! If he doesn't want to talk to me then I'll just go ahead and enjoy my vacation here! He CARES about his woman. Nakakaistorbo naman.
Nagbihis ako. I wore one of those dresses that hug my curves perfectly.
I passed in front of him.
Ignore.
Still no reaction.
I gritted my teeth. I rushed out of there and out.
I went out. And 15 minutes later I find myself drinking downstairs at the hotels bar.
"You look like you had a rough night?" A raspy voice said beside me.
I turned to her.
He has a jet black hair. Brows thick. Face is so virile. His jawbone looks ridged. His air reminds me of daddy. Though this guy seemed to be younger than daddy. But he is strikingly handsome.
"What is a gorgeous lady doing in here?" his voice does not seemed to be interested in its question, he was more like mocking. And then he added, "You are leering too much. Am I too dashing?"
I scoff. A small smile appearing on my lips. Feeling a bit comfortable at his presence. Unlike someone in there. "I was just grabbing a few drinks," I commented.
"I'm Nicolas,"
"Phoebe," I said shaking his hands.
"Oh. I never seen a tourist as gorgeous as you..." he complimented, making me a bit mad. He reminded me of someone. Maloko rin ang isang to eh.
"Sorry. I'm not interested..." I said with flippancy and rolled my eyes a bit.
The bartender looked at us.
"Oh, never saw that coming..." he said sounding fakely shock. "That was mean," mahinang bulong nya. Enough na para marinig ko.
I sigh. Maybe I was a bit too rough. He just reminds me of daddy. I looked at him again. His head was low like he was a bit of embarrassed because someone saw. Ah dammit. I felt guilty.
