|| Kiera Stevens's POV ||

I barged for the outdoors, stumbling all the way to my parking car. His guards kept shouting behind my back,

" Miss..Miss..you should at least inform, Luca!"

I jumped in the car, and the sore feeling between my thighs returned, reminding me of our passionate encounter. Looking at those running guards, I showed them my middle finger. They could just fuck themselves. My son needed me there. Even if I had to break a thousand rules, I would be there for him.

Stepping on the engine, I drove back for home, breaking his order again.

________

The hall downstairs was full of mascara. Broken things came to my attention as soon as I stepped my feet into the hallway. Maids kept chasing behind him. My son kept throwing things here and there. Since Dad was staying in hospital, it was even harder to control this little monster.

Ryan was a special child. It wasn't like he had autism or other health issues. Two years back, he witnessed a terrible accident very closely. Ever since that time,my son suddenly started acting violent when his mood turned worse. Countless therapists couldn't cure him entirely. They only advised me that he would get over with time. But I was still worried for him. After all, I was his mom.

" Baby.. baby...", I spoke in a sweet voice, walking past those broken pieces carefully.

His little raged eyes fell on me, warned in a cold voice which he often used whenever he was angry,

" Don't come to me, mommy! You all are bad!"

Indeed I was. I exhaled heavily at the thought. I was sleeping with a gangster who didn't give shit about me. Keeping aside those thoughts, I crunched on my knees to speak calmly,

" Tell me first..Who made my baby angry?"

He paused between throwing an object. I involuntarily felt relieved since he was finally listening to me. The therapist told me that he would act more violently if I tried to lecture her harshly.

Ryan turned around his little body to face me. His voice hinted at pain and accusation,

" You!!"

I gave him a puzzled look. I did everything to keep him safe and sound. Not understanding his words, I asked again with a smile,

" What baby? Did mommy do something to anger you?"

He growled back like a little beast, tears spewing from his eyes,

" You promised me that you will sleep with me tonight. Where did you go then?"

I bit my tongue hard in realization. I forgot that I gave him a promise the other day. So many things happened that it went out of my mind. How could I forget something so important?

Guilt morphed on my face. Then, I tried to console my son who was on the verge of crying,

" Baby..Mommy had work..I am sorry, okay? Can we sleep now?"

He didn't agree immediately. Puffing his cheeks more, he blurted in a sad voice before running upstairs,

" You always say the same! I wish that my father was here!"

___________

The room was dark and silent. After crying for half an hour, I headed for Ryan's room, already finding him sleeping on the bed. He didn't even let his nanny accompany him.

So stubborn!
