Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Hellmatch: The Mafia's Heir. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 18_____ Giving Your Punishment . Let's read the author's Hellmatch: The Mafia's Heir Internet story right here.
|| KIERA STEVENS'S POV ||
Ryan was holding one of those men's gun. His expression was calm and natural even after hitting the full basket of bottles nearby. His man acted fast, snatching back the gun before the crowd could notice. Ryan pouted angrily after it was taken away.
Fuck.. Seriously..Was my son into these guns?
" Ryan!! ", I shouted, getting on my step to scold him. I didn't want him to play with something so dangerous. I wanted him to be a gentleman like my father. Luca held me back, his cold hands gripped me before I could reach over. Pushing me back at my chair, he gave his men a meaningful look.
One of them came forward to bow, apologizing,
" Sorry, Luca! He..he insisted on playing. We will be careful next time."
My voice raged, coming out harshly,
" Why did you hand over the gun in the first place? Don't you think that it's dangerous for a little child? Besides, he could have hit someone by mistake."
I was furious over these useless men. They were giving a real gun to a child who didn't have any idea of it. His response left me speechless,
" Sorry, Miss! Actually, he told us that he would like to hit those bottles. We didn't care because we thought that he wouldn't be able to do it since he never fired anything before. Who knew that he was good at shooting?"
I glared at him coldly. This guy was sounding like Ryan had been practicing this for years. He was only five for God's sake. He might have aimed them by mistake. There was no way that my son liked those dangerous things. Before I could say more, Luca interrupted us, his eyes watching Ryan in pure adoration,
" Just pay more attention to him next time. We don't want any trouble here. You get it?"
He nodded before taking his leave. I glared at my son who was giving me puppy eyes, giving his apology silently.
" Your son has a good gene, Miss Stevens!", Luca smirked, leaning onto his chair. His pair of hawk-like eyes stayed on me reflexively. I pursued my lips but couldn't say anything in return. Surely, those weren't my genes because I was this fragile hearted woman who would have fainted from the sound of a gunshot.
" What?? Don't know where these genes came from?", Luca added with a smirk, hinting at that haunted night of my life.
My expression darkened in a matter of seconds. Scoffing back, I replied with a fake confident voice,
" Of course, I know! At least, he didn't get those genes from some dangerous Mafia man like you."
His jaw clenched hard in anger. I bet that it was a good hit from my side. He looked pissed off. I smirked at him victoriously. He let out a dark chuckle, a chuckle that left shivers crawling through my spine. Leaning forward, he mouthed staring at my face coldly,
" You forgot that you still have to pay for your disobedience from last night, Kiera Stevens."
I knew, I was in a damn situation at that moment. I noticed that he pronounced my full name whenever he was seriously angry. But I was in the mood to challenge him back since he had interrupted a perfect holiday with my son. Obviously, who could I blame now? Because Ryan looked happy with his stone faced boys. I just prayed that he didn't get such a sore mood from them like robotic. I never knew my son had such creepy preference. Like who on earth would like to get along with those people who always had a stone-cold face?
Folding my arms, I scoffed back with a threatening look on my face,
" Oh really! Tell me, what are you going to punish me? Are you going to take me here in front of everyone?"
He couldn't ,at least not around a bunch of people and his people were standing a few feet away from us. His eyes narrowed, an exhale came out heavily from his dark lips. He muttered, narrowing his eyes dangerously,
