"I want it out" want what out? I rubbed my eyes and sat up in bed. Kyros and Thane looked at me as they stopped talking.

"Want what out? What happened to me?" Kyros looked from me to Thane and to me again. Thane stormed out of the room slamming the door.

Kyros cleared his throat and moved closer to me but still kept a safe distance.

"You're pregnant"

"I am? How did that happen? My heat passed"

"Not really. The first day is the most intense but the heat doesn't end on the first day"

Ohhh. That was it? Thane seemed mad. "Is that why Thane is upset? He does want the baby?"

"The baby is a Lycan just like his father and you're human"

"But the mark.."

"The mark cannot change you completely. And even if it could it's still recent. Your body is not ready for a Lycan baby yet. It'll take a couple of years or decades before you're ready"

"What does that mean? What will happen to me and the baby"

"The baby will drain you. For the next five months you'll be sickly and weak. Chances of surviving the child birth is also low"

I was devastated. This was my first child and it could kill me? I looked at Kyros through blurry vision. "I have to..." I couldn't bring myself to say it.

He looked at me with understanding and nodded. "You have to terminate the baby"

"No. No I can't do that" I was hysteric clothing his arms and digging my nails into his skin.

"Luna" I didn't notice the door opened or someone had walked in until I was pulled into his arms. I buried my face into his chest as I sobbed and cursed the goddess.

I pulled back and looked at his face. It was stoic and void of emotions. "Ask him to do something. I can't loose the child"

"It's for the best. You can always have another later"

"No.. another won't be this child. I'm not killing my child" I turned to Kyros but his face held no hope.

I pulled away from Thane and moved away from him. "I'm keeping this child no matter what"

"It could fucking kill you"

"Then let it kill me" for the first time since he entered his stoic face changed. I saw a flash of hurt on his face before rage took over.

"You don't care if you die because of one babe when you can have a thousand others?"

"I don't care"

"Then so be it. Die if you want to" he was out of the door before I could utter a word. Kyros opened his mouth to say more but I held up my hands and stopped him.

"Please leave. I want to be alone" I turned away from him and covered myself before the door closed. I tried so hard not to cry and struggled to sleep.

The next few days were filled with tension. Thane didn't want to be anywhere around me and I couldn't care less because I was stuffing myself with food because of my little one.
