Alia
Sikander had asked her to meet him, he had not said the reason why he wanted to meet her, but he just said it was urgent.
She had left the hospital early, she asked her to the the the driver to take her to Sikander's estate, it was a long drive from her hospital
Taimur had been in the US for a week now and she was missing him badly. She had not been able to get over the fact that she could not conceive anymore. She knew she won't be able to get over this anytime soon.
The fierceness of her wishes to have a daughter had only increased ten folds. Alia knew better that she couldn't fight her fate and she will have to accept her situation one day or the other.
Taimur had always been a loving husband to her and a doting father to their kids. He had kept his word and has always been faithful to Alia. They both had been explosive together, since the moment they had met. There was no denying the chemistry they had with each other.
Alia had never felt more alive than in the company of Taimur. She had fallen for him, sooner than she had anticipated. She had never thought about the man she had left even once in her whole married life. Despite that fact that it had looked impossible to her to get over him, when they had parted ways.
How silly she had been, no man would have ever come close to Taimur. He had such a dynamic personality that it had been nearly impossible to resist him. Though she never had tried resisting him, he had fallen in love with Taimur willingly.
She had been a virgin when she had gotten married. Alia always had been the old school type and had saved herself for her husband. Taimur had regretted that he had not saved himself for her, like she had for him. It didn't matter to her if she wasn't his first, all she wanted was him to be loyal to her.
Taimur had stuck to his words and had never taken any woman in his life after marrying Alia. He had held to his promise to her that he wouldn't take any woman other than Alia from the day of his marriage until the day of their death.
Alia was thinking what Silander might have wanted from her. Her sixth sense was warning her that something was terribly wrong.
She ran into Taimur's younger sister Mariyam as she entered the house, she looked like she was just leaving.
"Assalam Alaikum" Mariyam greeted her.
"Walekum Assalam, how are you Mariyam? Long time no see?" She asked, smiling.
"Habibati, you of all people should know how twins are, especially when I have two sets of twins", She said rolling her eyes.
"I know honey, I can't tell you how eager I am to go to New York and leave them behind, they have drained every ounce of energy from me", Alia replied.
" I heard Okhuya (brother in Arabic) is taking you on a second honeymoon, lucky girl", Mariyam said grinning.
"It's just a vacation, Mariyam", She replied laughing.
"Well looking at the way Okhuya looks at you, I don't think your honeymoon phase is ever gonna end", Mariyam teased her.
Alia slapped her arms laughing, she was getting impatient to leave Mariyam and get over with what Sikander had to say to her.
She had tried calling Taimur, but he didn't answer her calls, she was worried about him. He always used to call her back, after he missed her calls.
"Will see you soon Alia, give my love to my nephews and take care. Have a great honeymoon", Mariyam said hugging her and kissing both her cheeks?
"Later Mariyam, you too, take care", She said as she headed towards Sikander's study.
She saw Sikander was seated behind his desk as she entered his study, she greeted him and sat on the chair across him.
"How are the kids?" Sikander asked as she made herself comfortable on the chair.
"They are good", She replied, thinking this can't be the reason for asking her to come here.
She disliked the way Sikander used to beat around the bush, he never let you know what was going on in his mind.
" I don't think you invited me to ask the well being of your grandsons", Alia said, fed up with his constant silence and staring.
"No, actually I invited you to inform you about the well being of my granddaughter", Sikander replied.
Alia looked at him in surprise, no one from Taimur's siblings had a daughter. They all had sons.
Tayyaba had always longed for a granddaughter but unfortunately, her wish was never granted by the almighty.
" Excuse me, but I think I didn't hear you properly", She said looking at Sikander confused.
"You heard it alright, my dear. I am talking about your husband's daughter, from his past relationship", Sikander said calmly.
It was a bomb that had exploded, Alia was beyond shocked. Taimur was having a daughter, from his past relationship and had never told her about it?
He must have been shattered to find out that he had a daughter only to be kidnapped by someone.
She was looking at Sikander with hatred and resentment in her eyes. Taimur had been right all along. This man was a monster and he didn't care about anyone else other than him.
"Look, Alia, I really feel bad that his daughter was kidnapped. But that doesn't mean he should act like this, he has asked help from the FBI and if the media gets a sniff of this, they will go gaga over it and rip apart his reputation within no time.
How do you think the council will take this news? He had been foolish enough to get a girl pregnant and then let her go and have his child. If he had been having some sense he would have kept tabs on the girl and had made her abort her pregnancy.
I would have done that, but I didn't want to hurt him more, he already despises me and if I would have done anything to that girl he would have snapped" Sikander said.
"You knew about it?" Alia asked in shock.
"Of course, I knew about his daughter. But I didn't tell him, because I knew he would run back to that woman with his tail between his legs. Not thinking once about the consequences", He said clenching his fist.
" And now his daughter's life is in danger, because of you. Taimur will never forgive you for this and I will make sure of it", Alia said as she stood from the chair.
"I am not finished with you yet", Sikander hissed.
" I don't care, I need to be with my husband", She snarled as she turned towards the door.
"You will regret this Alia", Sikander called from behind her. But she wasn't listening.
She called Taimur's secretary as she exited the study and asked him to book a ticket for her to New York for tonight.
She knew Taimur was hurting and she wanted to be with him, she could never leave him in the time of his need.
She stopped to meet Tayyaba and informed her she was leaving for New York tonight and she would send the boys and their nannies to stay here while she was in New York.
Tayyaba was delighted to have the boys, staying with her. She was always loving and caring towards all her children and grandchildren.
Alia wondered how Tayyaba had spent her life with a monster like Sikander if she would have been in Tayyaba's place she would have gone insane.
Alia called and informed Riyadh she was coming to New York and asked him to not tell Taimur about her arrival.
