Alia
Alia had been shaken to the core after finding out that Taimur had a daughter with Eva. The fact that his daughter had been kidnapped was enough to worry a strong woman like her. She could only imagine how Eva could be holding up.
She couldn't even imagine what Taimur might be going through. Coming face to face with his ex won't be easy for him. It was an irony that they had been longing for a daughter so much, oblivious to the fact that he already had a daughter.
Sikander had denied any link to Taimur's daughter's kidnapping and still, Alia was not convinced if he was telling the truth. That man could go to any extent to manipulate Taimur into doing his bidding. Though Alia was sure he won't do anything that might jeopardize the prospects of Taimur becoming the king.
She had been conflicted about Sikander's involvement in the kidnapping. He had looked devastated and not in control of the situation, which might mean that he might be telling the truth.
Alia dropped her son's along with their nannies at Sikander's place. She met Tayyaba who was looking distressed, when she injured Tayyaba about the reason for her distress, she told Alia that Sikander had told her about Taimur's daughter and she had been worried sick since then.
Alia knew very well, how much Tayyaba loved Taimur, "Everything will be fine," she comforted Tayyaba.
"I don't know when my son's hardships will be over," she sobbed," He had been through so much at such a young age, and that too at the hands of the people he loves," she added.
Alia was a mother and she could understand Tayyaba's distress. It was true that Taimur had been through so much in his life. It had been a miracle that he had survived all those heartbreaks in his life.
"Taimur is strong, he will not let anything happen to his daughter," Alia said, rubbing Tayyaba's back with her hand who was hugging Alia.
"I hope he gets her back alive and brings her to Azmaayir where she belongs," Tayyaba said wiring her tears, pulling away from Alia.
"Taimur will never abandon his daughter. I know he will do everything in his power to get her back and give her tha life she deserves as the daughter of Taimur Al Jahaan and the Princess of Azmaayir," Alia knew Taimur won't rest until she has his daughter back.
"I will have to leave now Umumi," she patted Tayyaba's cheeks.
It was time for her to leave for the airport. She had asked Riyadh to receive her at the airport. She kissed her boys one last time, who were looking at her with wide eyes. They had noticed her tears and looked worried about her, especially Ahmed who was too sensitive about Alia.
"Are you crying Umi? Ahmed asked her when she hugged him.
" No baby, something stung in my eye and that's why they are watering," she comforted him.
"Ohh, when will you come back? Will Abi come with you too?" He asked.
"I will come back soon honey and yes, your Abi will come back with me too," she replied to him, " Now I want both of you to behave and not bother anyone," she instructed them.
It was impossible to expect that the teins would behave, but there was no harm in trying.
She left for the airport and went through the formalities. She felt like the flight was taking normal than usual, or it must have been her imagination.
Riyadh was there to pick her up at the airport. Alia followed her to the car silently.
"Did you guys found out anything about the men who kidnapped Taimur's daughter? Alia asked as she slid into the backseat of the car beside Riyadh.
" Nothing as of now, it'just a dead end. They have planned everything very meticulously", Riyadh replied.
"There must be something, some clue, some information", Alia said bewildered.
" The FBI is working their ass off, but they still couldn't find anything", He replied.
Alia was silent for a moment, she was worried about Taimur, this must be very difficult for him. He usually got his way in everything and now being not able to help his daughter should be devastating for him.
"Any idea who those guys could be? Any suspects?" She asked.
"Taimur thinks it could be Sikander, he has asked Haris to investigate", Riyadh said scrolling through his phone.
" It's not him", She said.
"Alia it's not what you are thinking, she is married and Taimur is there because the FBI has their set up there to avoid the media and paparazzi.
" She is married?" She asked surprised.
"Yes, it's been two years", Riyadh replied.
"Then why the hell you guys are crashing at their house, give them some privacy", Alia said trying to control her anger.
She was shocked how could Taimur go and crash at their place in a time of such crisis, they would need privacy for each other.
She was really mad at Taimur, she knew he was a pain in the ass for the people who knew him, but she didn't expect him to do something like this.
"Alia it's just to avoid the media, you know how they follow him. There was no other option, we can't invite the FBI to our hotel or office and nor his apartment. They already know about his apartment, and last time you know what happened when he stayed there, a guy tried to broke in", Riyadh said.
" I want to go there first, we can go to the hotel afterward", Alia said looking at the passing buildings outside the car window.
"I think you should take some rest, you had a long flight", Riyadh said, Alia, said he was trying to stop her from going there.
" I am fine Riyadh, I did like to see my husband first", She snapped at him.
Riyadh just looked at her for a few moments, and then gave the driver the instructions.
Alia just avoided any more conversation, she was anxious now, to meet the woman about whom she had heard so much.
Taimur never spoke about her, he tried to avoid conversation regarding Eva, but his sister's and sisters in law had told Alia about her. And Riyadh had told her a lot of things about Eva and a rough idea of what had transpired between Eva and Taimur.
She had seen Eva's photographs from Sikander's birthday party. She was very beautiful, no wonder her husband was attracted to her.
